The Norwich Inn is super charming. I knew it would be historic and it is! That comes along with creaky floors and classic bathrooms, but I had the best sleep of my life there. Great pub. Quiet rooms in the most charming small Vermont town. Modern where you need it to be: antique where there’s a “wow” factor. Moose head. Beautiful woodwork. Tiny check in desk with marble top. Brass bell to ring if no one’s there. Sweet out door sitting areas. Nice lobby. Good Wi-Fi.

Charming little Inn, well located for a visit to Dartmouth, King Arthur Bakery and Quechee. The bar was lively and the room comfortable.

Liked everything as soon as I walked in. Staff is wonderful, and knowlegable. Has on on-site bar, many rooms for sitting confortably in and a great front porch. Beautiful and charming. Food is wonderful and all staff we encountered were attentive and helpful. Rooms are gorgeous, and confortable, but no elevator to second floor, which wasn't a concern for us, but FYI.

I enjoyed the "old inn" feel of the place, and the staff--while not as many in number as they would've liked to be, which is not unusual in this post-Covid world--were all versatile, helpful, friendly, and just generally good people. There's a decent restaurant on the premises, and a marvelous restaurant across the street--the town is tiny, but the book store a few doors down is excellent. If you enjoy walking, you can get to Hanover on foot in 20 minutes to a half-hour; also, King Arthur Flour is about the same distance away, a very quick drive--a great resource for bakers, and a good place to grab breakfast or lunch.

Our room was comfortable and clean. There was a gas fireplace that was cheery and attractive. The bathroom was up to date and well maintained. There is a restaurant on the property but we had other dining plans and so didn't take advantage of this service. There aren't other nearby dining choices we could find, but the staff gave us a list of local restaurants with phone numbers.

We loved our stay at the Norwich Inn! The restaurant was excellent, just as we had remembered it from our first date in 2019. A very historic and elegant property, with very well maintained rooms. The towel warmer in our bathroom and the fireplace added much warmth to our stay. The breakfast was simple and convenient. The inn is very convenient to Hanover, NH. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

The most beautiful Inn that I ever visited. The staff was so friendly & truly cared. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. The dining room served wonderful meals. Highly recommend!!! 5 stars!

Quaint Inn with modern amenities. Enjoyed sitting on the porch in a rocking chair chatting. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our rooms were gorgeous with updated bathrooms. Lovely restaurant with delicious food and great service. They even have their own brewery. Favorite hotel of our NY, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts road trip.

We would have been perfectly happy with the Norwich Inn except that we were woken up the first morning before 8am by a garbage truck that beeped as it went into reverse and droned when it went forward, right beneath our window. The hotel manager kindly gave us a discount on the first night of our stay. He agreed that the situation was not classy enough for such a lovely hotel that costs quite a lot.

Wonderful stay. I hadn’t thought to check if they have air conditioning. Thankfully, they did, as I arrived on an unseasonably hot day. In-room AC with easy to use controls. Check-in was quick and friendly. Room was exceptionally clean. Gorgeous old wood floors in the room. Very convenient location, close to a highway (but not so close you’d see or hear it). Lots of parking. Cozy seating areas on the ground floor. I’ll definitely return if I’m in the area again.
