A lovely, historic inn with clean, modern comforts, in a charming town, surrounded by gorgeous homes, beautiful woods, and a short walk to the Appalachian Trail. The staff was very professional and helpful. Food was good, the bar was fun and friendly. We enjoyed having a glass of wine on the big front porch and meeting interesting guests - including a 'through hiker' who shared some tales of his journey. The staff allowed us a noon check-out so we could enjoy a hike that morning, and they also insisted on paying for the Prosecco I ordered to celebrate our 16th Wedding anniversary.

Friendly staff and cute communal areas.

The blinds didn’t work in the room, and couldn’t fix it. I did not sleep well, and the old rooms were not upgraded. For that price I expected better.
