We stayed a total of 3 nights, of which 2 were a free stopover by the Abu Dhabi based airline. This arrangement gave us a cheap and pleasant extended stopover. We liked this comfortable hotel with its private beach. Not much nearby to do but taxis are readily available and cheap. The breakfast was good except the hot food was cold.

I spent my Xmas vacations at this wonderful hotel. John who assisted me and I have to say the check was swift and professional. He was polite and extremely helpful to fulfil my requests. The decorated lobby was full of festive cheer. It's so bright and beautiful to lift u up in spirit. The room was spacious and extremely clean. I really love the view of the water and the city lights in the background so tranquil. I truly enjoyed the morning swim on the private beach area. I ordered a lamb briyani from room service which was well prepared with the perfect amount of spice and meat. Very delicious. This was a truly relaxed and well spent Xmas break.

1. The drink and service wait was over an hour not 20 minutes as 25 minutes went by and we had to go up to the lifeguards 4/5 times to ask what was happening and was met with a reply of go inside and order! This is purely unacceptable. 1.1. Breakfast service was awful dirty tables not being cleared and being key with unhelpful staff. 2. My issue with the guy delivering the additional items to our room was not a time issue it was an issue he would not leave my room after several prompts as me saying goodbye where I there had to be stern. This is not acceptable for a lone female in her room to be presented with this issue as my husband was in the shower. 3. The room was incredibly dusty.

The staff here are fabulous, from check in to check out. Hamza at the concierge desk, Francis one of the lifeguards on the beach all make you feel valued. It was my birthday while I was there and they went to the trouble of sending a lovely chocolate cake (it tasted amazing) to my room. There is literally nothing that is too much trouble to them. I look forward to going again soon!!

We are very disappointed that we lost shoes, kids clothes, skirts, underwear, pants, etc that we bought for our families. We didn’t expect this could happen in Abu Dabi. Other than, We enjoyed the breakfast. It would be perfect stay if we didn’t loss our stuff. I recommended everyone to lock their luggage. There is always bad people around.

When I arrived to the front desk to check in, I asked the receptionist, John, if there were any available upgrades. He told me no and that the hotel was full. When my husband and I arrived to our room on the 4th floor, my husband went to use the toilet. There was urine still in the toilet from a previous guest. Even the gentleman who brough our bags to the room saw it. He was very helpful and called for assistance. The hotel offered to upgrade our room to one of a slightly larger size. I had to call for ice literally 7 times (with a lot of time in between each call) before it was finally delivered the room. I was quite disappointed in the service and the cleanliness of the hotel. To find urine in a toilet is unacceptable. I feel like the management should have even made a courtesy call to apologize for such. That never happened.

Traders hotel was excellent and exceeded my expectations. Rooms were large and nice views. Staff were excellent especially Francis at the beach. Kasum too for organising the abra and highlighting an excellent Lebanese restaurant which was great. All the staff were friendly. Will definitely go back next year.

The beachfront location waa across deom Ritz-Carlton in a very upscale neighborhood. Loved the Gondola service through the canal which took you to the mall or you could just use it as a ride .mall can be accessed through the lovely 10 min walking trail aa well

This hotel is modern, comfortable and clean. Everyone at Reception was friendly and helpful, even when they needed to link separate bookings, or make sure that my laundered clothes were returned to me after I spent two nights in a different part of the country. The rooms are very elegant, the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is excellent, fresh, and varied. I also enjoyed the pool, and the beachside lounge/bar. Overall, I'd love to return on another trip.

The Traders is an excellent property with ease of access, never had to wait for a taxi. Within easy reach of the Souk which has some excellent restarurants as well as Al Qana Marina. The rooms were very clean with all facilities available. The staff were very friendly and very welcoming. Abu Dhabi is a very safe city where you can freely walk around at night

I was really looking forward to staying at this property as I’ve stayed in Shangri-La’s previously however we were really disappointed with this hotel. Let’s talk about positives - beach/creek location in a quiet area. Also, small/medium sized hotel so the small beach area isn’t overcrowded. Negatives- I can’t list everything for this review! The biggest disappointment overall was the staff! From rude to clueless, this hotel had a very weird vibe to it, staff were generally just not happy at all. Tip - if the hotel doesn’t sort out the disaster which is their Resturant, avoid the breakfast unless you get it at a very cheap rate or free…it’s absolute carnage and staff are moving around in a craze. Moral at the hotel was low and guests can sense it, I spoke to a few other guests and they also had similar experiences like we did with staff (there is a lot of things which was bad/poor customer service) so I’m confident it wasn’t me having a bad week hence I’m stating this to my review for you all. Other notable issues, air con controls don’t work, mattress worn down so you ‘sink’ into the body indent and valet parking chaos. Oh, the kids playground is under maintenance with no date to complete! For me, I don’t think I’ll return mainly on how we and other guests were treated. Traders hotel, without guests you have no hotel, please improve!

You have an Employee named Jan, he is absolutely the best, I mean that. I lost my phone when I left the Shiek Zayed Grand Mosque, I need everyone to understand this…..he literally called the taxi until they brought it back. If you are on vacation you can understand that your iCloud doesn’t update right away….hence I had no photos saved/my iPhone was not backed up. He told me to go watch the World Cup at the Shangri La and he will contact ,e shortly. Before halftime of the Poland/Mexico match I received a correspondence to come to the main entrance….upon arrival I had 5 employees informing me that my mobile was on premises. Please understand that this level of service happens nowhere in the west. I truly appreciate Jan and the staff at Traders!
