Pre paid for 3 days (Friday - Sunday). We knew we were going to be arriving after midnight (so Saturday morning). Husband called around 730 p.m. and let them know we we're going to be checking in late, past midnight. Woman on the phone (we assume front desk) let us know that wouldn't be a problem. Arrived at 3:30 a.m. and the gentleman at the desk kept insisting they arent expecting any check ins. I showed him my pre-paid reservation details on the app and he kept insisting he didn't see us in the system. He ended up finding us then kept stating that we should have called ahead. We told him we did, he insisted we didn't. Showed him my husbands call logs and he said that no one told him. The staff lack of communication isn't my problem, but whatever. He went on to insist that our check out was Saturday, and I argued and showed him my reservation again, and his response was to keep insisting our check out was Saturday. I was not happy with the check in process. He was very rude and combative and kept making unnecessary comments throughout the process of "you should have called" over and over again. All other staff I encountered was great. The room was great. Everything else was great.

I always book stays with the Hampton Inn because of the breakfast they have available. After I checked in for my stay from December 23rd to December 25th I was notified that they would not be serving breakfast on December 24th or 25th. While I appreciate them wanting to allow their staff time off for the holidays this was a big inconvenience for myself and my family and I feel like we should have been notified when booking, or at least offered some time of compensation for not having this “amenity” that was paid for. They could have offered some type of food options, muffins, fruit or something that the front desk could manage. I am very disappointed.

In general it was a quiet area, but a couple times we heard some dragsters. But the staff was very friendly and the hotel was convenient for the area.

I could not find a confirmation for this stay. And I needed it to cancel before booking another hotel. I had to make the assumption that I did not actually manage to book the reservation the week before. And now I have a room that I booked that was to handle those delays, also through hotels.com. I had checked my travel activity and could not find the Hampton reservation. Looking at my email this morning, I finally saw the request for a review and of course that was too late. The lack of a confirmation email or any confirmation prevented me from canceling the room when I made the rest of my travel changes. All this due to the fact that I could not find the reservation in my activity file which led me to believe that I did not have a reservation and now have a payment that I should not be making. I'm not happy with hotels.com. Next time I'll book directly with hilton.
