This was the perfect get-away for my husband and I who are in our late fifties. Glunz offers a quiet, beachside experience with lovely pools, spa, and a marvelous Tiki Bar/restaurant right on the ocean. The neighborhood is also a plus. There is a walking/biking path that leads to Sunset Park that provides a marvelous view of the sunset. Glunz staff are super friendly and quick to respond to any questions or needs. I look forward to my next vacation at Glunz.

This place is amazing! Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to others. Only issue is that the TV is too small. LOVE IT HERE!

From the minute we walked in the front door we felt like we were home. The welcome was warm and friendly, and very accomodating! While we were several hours early for check in, we waited at the Havana Jack's restaurant next door, and to our surprise the room was ready very quickly! The room was fresh smelling, spacious, clean, airy, and they offered refillable Shampoo, Conditioner, and body wash in the roomy shower(no more plastic bottle waste). The fridge was big enough for our drinks and the ice bucket (anyone who's been to the Keys knows nothing stays cold)! The view of the Atlantic, the perfect little beach, and pool with comfy padded chairs made us so happy! We said we wanted to get in the hot tub, but never did as it was a bit cool and rainy.

I absolutely love this place! The staff was so friendly and helpful! It situated where you feel like theres a private beach at the back with tons of beach chairs..heated pool that looks so pretty at night..even a spa to relax! Alao there was live kareoke right next door, food and a bar! The rooms were clean and cozy! Highly recommend if you want to visit Ket West!

Mixed feelings about Glunz! We only got to stay one night but if we had had time I'm not sure we would have really liked to. The property was beautiful, staff were awesome. There's some signs of weathering from ocean air but nothing awful. The main problem was we splurged for a room which opened out right onto the beach (which was absolutely beautiful. I wish it had been warm/sunny enough to get in), and wanted to keep the sliding doors open but a couple of times someone was smoking somewhere and the smell came into the room and then was so hard to get rid of. Also for >$800 a night I wasn't expecting one of the chairs to have a large stain and significant signs of scuffing/wear. Otherwise very clean though. The restaurant could be a little loud but they stopped the music pretty early, and there was a really nice fire pit going for late-people to enjoy. The redeeming factor too was they sent a message requesting feedback and when I mentioned these things, I expected a usual "Thank you for comments we'll take into consideration etc." but it seemed like a real human being read them and responded specifically. So would we go back to Glunz? I think we would give them another try. Especially if they designated one building non-smoking or something. You can very quickly fall into relaxation and the peace of the ocean and would love to catch a better warmer week when kids could actually just run out and play on beach/water. The heated pool was excellent though!

Hot tub was broken, but they had someone fixing it. Live music was playing outside and was wonderful! Kayak, paddleboard, and bike rentals were included and the beach was soft and had a perfect view of the sunrise.

Loved the location and amenities. Our room H5 needed repair to door. It was not secure. You could see light through it because it did not seal securely. The sliding glass door to the pool area couldn’t be locked from the outside so it wasn’t useful as it could be. Staff very nice. Offered us a different room but we opted to stay where we were as we had already settled in. But security is a real problem with this room. It was clean and comfortable otherwise and location awesome.

The beach access was incredible, the pool and hot tub were great, and the onsite bar/restaurant was wonderful. Staff was helpful and friendly. Definitely would come here again!

The WIFI is terrible and is almost non-existent in the hotel, so don't expect to get any work done if you must work. The room had numerous issues and needed to be cleaned better. It was musty smelling and needed better hygiene. The access to the beach and pool made this place good, and the staff was excellent throughout the stay.

Not like the pics at all. Basically a shabby 1970s type low budget motel advertised as a resort. Dirty room that had a very strong mold smell. Bugs. Hairs in beds. Ceiling fan so loud and unbalanced seemed like it would fall off. Couldn't get AC to work properly. Its got a tiny beachfront but that's about it. All around bad experience for a big price. Never leave reviews but wanted to save someone else from wasting money.

It was ok. Not as good as I remember it. Restaurant next door is now way over priced and limited menu. They are also the only ones that haven’t fixed their pier for fishing.

Beautiful area! The private beach was right at he back of the hotel and well kept. There was a beautiful pool and tiki bar available eith restaurant. The desk clerks were very helpful anytime we needed anything. There were kayaks and bicycles available, but i would definitely say the kayaks need replacing. The straps on the 2 individual kayaks' seating were eaten through by salt water and not safe to use. We opted fortheir paddle boards instead. The rooms were cozy and very clean. I onky wish there had been a spare blanket as I got cold each night. Webstayed outside through sunset each night, and it was beautiful, but you definitely need mesquito spray. I will return to this resort if we ever stay in the keys again.

The room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, from activities to places to eat. The view was beautiful every morning. The spa and pool were clean and wonderful to have as well as the ocean right next to it. Checking in was easy and having a restaurant right next door was fabulous the first night.

We LOVED this property! Perfect location, tons of amenities, super nice beach front (which we know is hard to find in the keys) pool options, perfect areas for bike riding and kayaking (you get to use the resorts bikes, kayaks, paddle boards), the staff was so unbelievably kind, the atmosphere is perfect for vacation! I can’t say enough about this place!

Hotel was a bit below what we expected. Pictures were also a bit misleading. Apartment type room was not pristine and it was a bit older. Beach was about 15 feet wide, their dock was broken apart, the restaurant closed early, not as advertised. Balconies were not private. They let anyone and everyone access the pool and beach, not just guests.

This is not a resort, it is not much more than an average motel. The place was average at best. The rate is very high and what you are paying for is it's location with a private beach which is covered in algea and seaweed.

Lovely location! Staff were all extremely nice! Grounds, pool and room clean. Could use some updates but we really enjoyed our stay overall! Nice to have a restaurant on property too! Food was delicious! Great for families, friends or couples.

Perfect place for our family to vacation. Beach, pool, restaurant/bar, room, parking all close to each other making for very convenient use! Kids loved beach and pool- especially the umbrella covered splash pad. Ton of seating and umbrellas outside rooms, on beach, and around pool. Use of bikes and kayaks nice options too. Beautiful sunrise from room. Very clean, well-appointed, and updated room. Very nice staff in office and around property. Pool was warm and crystal clean. Perfect mid-keys location that was quiet yet close to shopping in marathon and an easy day trip down to key west- but we were so happy to be staying someplace quiet, fun, and memorable. Thank you a Glunz family and their team!
