This hotel was dirty and dated. The curtains in our room were visibly dirty. The sink and tub were missing drain stoppers. The comforter and large pillows looked grungy and old. Despite being one of the only two people checked into the hotel that , they roomed us directly next to each other. It was poorly renovated- and didn’t fit the expectations of something with the Wyndham name on it.

Great stay for a great price. We will be back

They wanted to put us in the room that shared a wall(and a door) with the front office. Also this room had stains and hairs all over the bed. So we asked to be switched which they did but wanted to charge us another 40 dollars a night. Thankfully we talked them out of this but the second room was similarly dirty with stains on the bed sheets and the couch. There were also greasy hand prints on the mirror that made the headboard of the bed. Also they said to offer breakfast online but the first morning of our stay there was nothing set out. The second morning there was hard boiled eggs bagels and apples. The only drink besides coffe was an unrefrigerated jug of fruit punch. I should have taken pictures. Oh also their pool was locked.

For the price of the room and hotel it self, it really isn’t very nice. I feel that I paid way too much for this hotel. If I had paid half of the price then it wouldn’t have been so bad. The staff was was very nice.

This place for the price is not worth it. It’s very old and run down. I stayed in the premier king suite and it was gross and outdated. The bathtub was dirty and cracked so we didn’t even utilize it, what a waste of money to pay for a premier room and can’t even use all the features. The bed sheets were disgusting and looked like it was even cleaned. The room smelt like there was mold growing somewhere inside the walls, floor or rug. The pillow smelt bad like dirty hair and definitely wasn’t not clean. Overall, I would not stay here again or recommend this to someone. Oh and I almost forgot, they state the ice castles is 4 mins away but it really is 10 mins away. It wasn’t a big deal but it definitely is misleading and should be corrected.

I have travailed for business and pleasure for 25 years and this was the worst place I have stayed by a mile. Needs renovations. Bathroom had broken glass and cracks, looked awful. The walls had patched in them allover. Pool was cold and dirty. Staff was mean and very unhelpful. Will never go near this place or Wyndham property again.

We just slept there. Clean. Beds weren’t overly comfy. But it was one night. Friendly workers.

Our stay was okay. The staff was not very friendly and was not seen that much. The pool is located in a seperate building from the hotel and is probably the nicest part of the hotel. The room was clean but could be updated as well as the doors and locks.

A weird smell that carried into our room.

WOW!!!!!! amazing ROOM

Hotel was clean, pool was nice but chilly and not attached to the hotel (makes a big difference when it’s cold), “lobby area” was freezing, front desk staff was just enough of being polite but not knowledgeable about the area and couldn’t make suggestions about where to eat (not a lot of local options). Our room key didn’t work and the manager blamed it on us although she had trouble with it herself and had to use a master key to open our door multiple times. Not a horrible place but we won’t be going back based on our own experience.

My only complaints are the heated pool was cold and the hot tub was just look warrm. Could beneficial to have some hooks in the room especially in the bathroom.

Needs updating badly

If Wyndham is going to have their brand associated with this place, they really need to invest in updating it. Everything looked like it was frozen in time in the 1980s, electric baseboard heaters in the room, a window air conditioner installed in the wall. And not in good shape either. The towel rack in the bathroom was coming off the wall, and the metal rod had been replaced with a piece of wood. The bathtub was stained, the sink had a broken stopper and backed up every time I used it, the bedding was thin and cheap. There was a small fridge on the floor with an old cheap microwave sitting on top of it.
It was advertised there was an "indoor pool" but you had to cross the parking lot in the cold to get to it. The building was heated, but the pool water was cold
I wouldn;t have minded if this was a discount price but I paid $179 a night, so not happy at all.

It was a nice place. Very comfortable. The only thing I have to say was the pool was freezing. Not heated at all. Very disappointing.

The room itself was very clean. The door to get into the room was very difficult. I had to put the key in and slightly push the door in an then turn the handle. If I pushed it too hard it wouldn’t work. It was extremely annoying trying to get in. It should be fixed. The toilet was running nonstop.

The room was nice and clean. But, at night we weren’t able to sleep much because there was a banging sound in the room. We were also disappointed when it came to breakfast time in the morning, we asked where the breakfast was and were directed towards some bagels that seemed to have been there for some time.

The property is a bit dated and needs rejuvination.

Low rate with breakfast include but the place and diversity of the beeakfast is not inspiring. And on a sunday morning the breakfast was only available at 9am

The traverlodge is a good logde motel to stay if you want to explore the white Mountains. It’s located in a very convenient location and easy to get in and out of the freeway.
Plus i like the fact that a strange encounter happened in the area with a couple and aliens.
I suggest to look up the story of betty and berry alien abduction in the notch express.

1. Check in I had to prove the card they charged was not mine and have them charge my card
2. Could not gain access to my room. Had to go get someone to show me the “trick” to opening the door. Insert access card, wait for green light, pull doorknob up a quarter of the way then instantly back down and “it should open.
3. Get unpacked into room and tv didn’t work. Instead of switching my room they stood and worked on the tv for more than 10 min. I never shut it off because I didn’t know if it would come back on.

We thought that the property was much better than the reviews we had read -- the staff was very kind and even changed our room upon arrival no questions asked the rooms were very clean and nice -- the only problem we found was there was no light on the sign by the road -- being we knew where we were going was not to bad but for those who do not know area more lighting would be great

Never again. They are liars. I was trying to add a 3rd person on hotels com and it was not letting me so I called the hotel and asked if i book for 3 people and that they would allow me the man said that it will not be a problem when I checked in they demanded 25$ on top of 125$ that I paid with hotels.com. The lady at the reception kept Lying that only she has the phone and that I am lying. I showed her my email from hotels too which showed that it’s $10 for extra guest but the front desk lady was not ready to listen and just wanted to rip me off by charging me her own rate. They are greedy and rude. The room was not worth 150$. Full of dust and insecure. I got sick. Also the door would not open and she came and opened with her keys and then continued to tell us that we did not know how to open the door. They need to learn to be honest and atleast kind to guests. Would not recommend staying here. Stay away from this place.

We had a very nice time at the Travelodge. Our room had a fireplace and jacuzzi tub, which were perfect after a day of hiking in the cold rain! The management were friendly and helpful. The facility is older but well kept and clean.

First impression; smells horrible, looks like it has it has not been renovated since 1960, no lights outside at night, extremely vacant, cracked parking lot, paint chipping off the building, carpets smelled like pesticides, old furniture, bed frame was solid wood so extremely hard, pillows were yellow, the one person at the desk didn’t speak English and had to call someone to come and help us check in. Once we checked into I room, I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. I called Travelocity to see what my options were. My husband calmed me down we had just driven over 4 hours and didn’t want to drive another minute. We both slept on top of the covers, if we got two hours of sleep would be a miracle. We left at the crack of dawn, the sun hadn’t even come up. Only 2 other cars where is the parking lot when we left! I would NEVER stay there again. I would NEVER tell anyone to go there. I was scared out of my mind. Who would have thought being part of the Wyndham Family that they would allow this hotel to be like this. I get you get what you pay for but this hotel is disgusting and that’s being nice

A perfect place for 2 busy brothers to relax and reconnect. Fabulous atmosphere, food, and scenery. So glad to have had this opportunity. Our hosts were awesome. Looking forward to coming back.

last update was in the 70s. remodeled by owner with no skill. floor was creaky. mold. terrible 30 yo mattress. it is vwry dated and not in the rustic charming way. I have trusted Wyndham as a brand for year. This ends my truat of the brand.

There was a weird odor as soon as you walked in. Office staff barely spoke English. Property very dated. We could not control the heat in our room. We went to check breakfast and the room was closed. Later we went back and there were grocery store muffins and coffee. We ate elsewhere.

Place was so run down. Parking lot was full of ruts and our first impression was no one else is here. We booked 2 queen beds thru Expedia; as that was all that was available. We got there and said we only needed 1 queen and they made a big deal about giving us an upgrade to a "suite", the upgrade had a seperate living area, kitchen, bath and bedroom. Upon entering the upgraded apartment the first thing we noticed was the stagnent smell. The furniture was outdated with stains on it, some of the kitchen cabinets had locks on it, the fireplace was covered and it was cold; only 52 degrees. I called the desk, where the receptionist said that everyone was still asking for a/c still and that their heat wasn't normally turned on til November. She did say she would call the company, but did not say the heat would be turned on tonight. I immediately booked with another hotel. The front desk was argumentative and refused to issue me a refund and told me I needed to contact Expedia. After leaving I tried reaching Expedia with no success and called the front desk who refused to help me. I finally got ahold of Expedia who said the payment was through the hotel, not Expedia and they tried to help by calling the hotel but the Expedia operatior received the same rude, unwilling to help service we did. We did not stay there. We were only there long enough to realize this was not the place for us. The company is fraudulently charging our credit card for services they did not provide.

Property wasn’t great. Staff were rude - they didn’t have my reserved room and made me pay for a larger one since I couldn’t do a smaller one. I wouldn’t go back to say the least.

The room was clean, but the tub in the bath had layers of finish worn off, and while clean, was not inviting to take a shower.
It had difficulty understanding the receptionist due to her heavy accent, so I never quite understood about the breakfast, where it is. I figured I see in the morning. I never found where it would be held and I did not find any staff in the morning, the office was closed.

Like so many others, we ended up here in a pinch during busy season. As expected, it was extremely overpriced for what it was, sorely outdated, and in desperate need of repairs (holes in bathroom ceilings, paint chipped, etc). Having said that, the service was by far the least favorable aspect with an older Indian male who YELLED aggressively “what do you want!!” At 7:47AM when I entered the office to checkout & grab quick (included) breakfast. The sign on the office door was turned to ‘open’when I entered. Per online description and instruction from the desk clerk during checkin, the office and breakfast are set to open / begin at 7:30. I was so shocked at his outburstI froze for a minute before starting to explain and he yelled again indicating the office is closed and to get out! Confused, I threw the key on the counter and pointed at the ‘open’ sign as I left. He slammed the door behind me, turned the sign to ‘closed’ and yelled something else. I get were all a little overworked these days but he scared me with his uncalled for aggression and I can’t recommend anyone to stay here. Still have no idea why the misleading times or his outburst.

We were looking for a place close to Mount Washington and the Cog Railroad.
This location was great. It was clean, comfortable, and convenient. The owners were helpful and pleasant. The area has lots of outdoor opportunities, and this was a perfect fit. It is equipped with a separate bedroom, a kitchen, and a large bathroom. Families will find this a perfect fit in their travels for overnight or extended stays.

The tub is chipped and spotty. The phone doesn’t work. The bed cover must be 20 years old. The spare blanket is bare threaded. The metal hangers for your clothes are very old . The wall AC / heater is old and noisy.
I would have refused to stay here if I knew of these conditions

The hotel room was not well light. It smelled like a wet dog and the bathroom sink was filthy and there were small bugs coming from the sink drain. The key lock on the door wouldn’t open very easily. I would never stay there again. The staff was ver nice.

Very dated hotel. Kind of creepy. Won’t book again.
