Property was convenient to where I needed to be. It definitely shows wear and tear. Mattress should be replaced due to wear. It was saggy.

This was a business trip and the location was convenient. There were plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from. The staff was very friendly and the complimentary breakfast was satisfactory.

Overall good stay with family. Our room was clean but light on a couple of things. Had to track down housekeeper for toilet paper, bar soap & additional coffee cups for the room. None of the trash cans had liners but not sure if they were supposed to. The call button for the elevator on the 3rd floor didn't work so we had to call to the front office to send the elevator up - minor inconvenience. Breakfast was well stocked & good. Overall really clean everywhere & front desk staff were all very nice. Would definitely stay again.

Room not cleaned while we were there, not enough towels initially for the length of our stay and number of guests in our room and the elevator was partially inoperable. Location was good and breakfast was okay.

Nice clean property. Breakfast just eh not the best tasting but not the worst either- whaat you expect from a hotel breakfast, had lots of bagels and English muffins and croissants but no regular toast.…. Good Coffee though. Overall I would definitely stay again- great area and great price and no major issues with the room or staff. Nice set up in the room.

Stayed here when visiting NASA. I highly recommend it. It has a great location, friendly staff and is clean. It’s easy to get to. I rented a car and found it central to many places I wanted to see near the Space Center. Free breakfast with it too!

Gnats in room. Elevator doesn't go down unless sent up by front desk. Pool not working. No discount given for inconvenience. Ice maker not working on the room floor.

Check in was terrible. We arrived at 4PM and were told rooms weren't available yet, come back in 10-15 minutes. Came back at 4:30, there was a different desk clerk and she was trying to check in a very large party to multiple rooms. She finally finished with them, and instead of checking us in she left the desk to go in back. She finally came back and checked us in at about 5. Why doesn't Springhill have a backup to help when the check in load builds up? The layout of the rooms is great, Springhill obviously spent a lot of money renovating them. But they aren't spending the money to maintain them. There was extensive mildew on the ceilings of both bathrooms, and the towel rack and toilet roll holder were both falling off the wall.

We were very happy with the hotel. I loved how the room had a water closet with a small sink as well as a shower and sink in a separate area. I also liked the sitting area/office.

This is our second I’m staying at this hotel the first time and we had a fabulous stay. We like the fact of the couch makes two twin beds. This time there was blood specks on the thin sheet thing that goes on top on the comforter. The breakfast was horrible the eggs were bland and bacon under cooked. This is normally our go to hotel when we come visit family because of the location to our relatives. We went through 3 remotes for the tv before they changed the batteries. They have sensors above the door that turns on the AC when you get back but it’s off the whole time your gone so the room was hot and humid when we got back.

We are Marriott point holders and this was the worst SpringHill Suites I’ve ever stayed at. Staff was rude, room was dirty . Ac didn’t work in our first room and shower handles were broken room was disgusting. Next day we were put in second room ac work shower was not broken but room was disgusting more dirtier than the first. Breakfast time was a mess the counters were dirty from spilled food waffle mix. I guess they don’t clean during breakfast. Don’t waste your money at this SpringHill Suites

Checked in with my family after a day at the beach. We arrived at 7:30 and were told they didn't have a clean room for us due to a staff shortage, and one would be ready in 15 minutes. 40 minutes later the room was ready. It was clean, but not in great shape. The shower curtain wasn't long enough for the shower. The shower had several extra knobs, some broken, so figuring out how to get it to work was a challenge. The soap dispenser was also broken, sitting in the tub. Even the elevator was fairly sketchy. It was very slow, and while sitting at the floor it would slowly drop an inch or two then abruptly lift a few inches to compensate. With some extra maintenance, and a beefed up cleaning crew this could be a nice hotel again. Breakfast was okay, and we like the area.

The toilet in our room was disgusting and kept blocking and when I informed the reception, they kept a plunger in the room the next time it happens. I had to use the plunger after every use since the suction was very bad, and my wife didn’t use it half the time. It was a very disappointing experience and overall disgusting to come to a broken toilet.

Why have a “check in” the day before if it doesn’t make a difference??? I still had to do all the normal check in things when I arrived even though I pre “checked in” online the day before. Pointless.

Bed was comfortable and I liked the way they utilized the space in the room. The breakfast was a little more than the basics you get at most hotels. It had an oatmeal bar with several topping, several types of cereal, fruits, yogurts, eggs and bacon as well as severe other items.

We have been staying at this hotel every time we visit Kemah. We have slowly been noticing that it's begining to look run down. Carpet is worn and you notice the dust has been sitting around for a while. This last stay the breakfast was disappointing. The attendants in charge of the breakfast area were slow in keeping the area clean. This hotel has become a decent stay for 1 or 2 nights but nothing more.

The room was very bright at night. Blackout curtains did not solve the problem. This one issue alone kept me from a restful sleep. Everything else was 5 stars. Check in was smooth, well-kept facility, breakfast was flawlessly managed. The maids looked happy to come to work and presented a professional and polished projection of your hotel. I talked with two different front desk personnel, and both were extremely friendly and helpful. These folks are hard to find these days. Cherish them! I never like to present a problem without a solution. If I was the CEO, I would find standard replacement black out roll up canvas to replace the existing sheer one already in place. Peer hotels have them and you already have the hardware in place. Maybe, start with just the second floor to offer this to select customers on request to save the price point. I would stay again.
