Been coming to the Blackhawk since I was a kid, and am now in my 50s- I still love it after all these years! the highlight of visiting the dells.

Excellent motel from the old wisconsin dells. My only recommendation don't take a room on or near Broadway st, a very busy noisy street, and you won't be able to sleep until we'll into the nite when traffic quiets.

First time staying here and definitely will be back. This place is great. The rooms are affordable, and kept in pristine condition. Extremely friendly staff who are always on site for anything you may need. The check in and check out process is super easy. Not too mention, they have a hot tub area, two heated pools, one inside and out. They have a game room with a pool table and your three blocks from downtown.
I appreciated that it is chill. Not too crazy crowded or busy. You can enjoy yourself and relax, a big difference from the corporate hotel chains. You are not just another person, they are very friendly staff. I would highly recommend this to anyone, who is staying on a budget, wants to relaxing but fun time. This place is great for the kids, family or a weekend getaway. Highly recommend and will be back.

I've been coming to this motel for years and love it! The previous owners were wonderful and now their son owns and operates it with the same care and detail! So many family owned motels disappeared in the Dells but it's wonderful that this place has remained! You can tell they really care about the property. You have your choice of a motel room or a suite or even a 2 bedroom house. I love that the room I had still has a bathtub in the bathroom. So many hotels now only offer a stand up shower and my house only has 2 stand up showers so it's nice to be able to have a nice soak while on vacation. The room I had included a bigger fridge than the normal dorm size fridge, which was nice, considering I was there for 3 nights. I love that the location is close to downtown and within walking distance of so much. The spacious drawers in the dresser and by the sink were really nice. Everything was really clean and the AC was running when I got there, which was nice, since it was quite hot and humid outside. Can't wait to come back!!
