The property was undergoing renovations, so the pool and gym area were not open. That was disappointing. Also, the carpets in the hallway looked dirty, and the air conditioning didn’t cool well. The breakfast area was nice, and the buffet breakfast was pretty good. All the staff we interacted with were nice.

Everything was ok. The lady who checked me in was very nice and very funny. She was awesome. I didn’t like the fact that the hotel has a policy where they asked why am I in town. Honestly I feel like it’s none of their business. Other than that as stated before it was ok. The only reason I chose this hotel was because I had a class in the meeting room there the next morning. Next time I would probably stay at a different brand for that very reason.

The hotel was clean and the staff was fantastic. We were greeted every time we passed the check in desk and the breakfast was excellent. Fresh eggs, crispy bacon and mini pancakes plus the usual stuff. Only complaint is that it needs a little TLC but overall it was a very good 2 night stay.

Assuming the basics are good to excellent, I'm looking for the little things that make a difference. At Holiday Inn Express Augusta North, for me, those differences were extra-large screen television, instantaneous hot water in the bathroom, really strong water pressure in the shower and an above average breakfast selection. There was a disappointment in the number and location of power outlets--which is surprising in a newer hotel. The staff was especially friendly and helpful, including retrieval of an item left behind and held until we could return and pick up later in the day. I definitely recommend this hotel and will be back when I'm staying in the area.

Pleasant experience! All employees were nice and friendly. Only thing that bothered me was the key cards constantly deactivating. I had to go back down stairs 3 times because the keys stopped working.

We booked online while traveling. Booking was easy! We checked in smoothly and the room was nice and comfortable. The free breakfast has hot food options and was very good. Staff were all friendly and frequently offered assistance!

Beds were clean and comfy. I'm a bed snob, so I can't stand a cheap, hard bed with cheap linens. 4 pillows on each bed, nice light comforter and quality sheets. I didn't have the breakfast, but it looked good for families (Pancakes, bisquits, eggs, cereal, muffins, juices, coffee, etc. Close to the I-20 and a lot of parking. The Mexican restaurant next door has good tacos and margaritas and you can wwalk to it.

I was not booked at the correct hotel and had asked for a transfer to the correct location. I am still waiting for a response on the inquiry. So I had never checked in or stayed at this location. The location at downtown was excellent and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Can’t say enough about the excellent staff downtown.

I felt very comfortable in this location. I was able to walk around d the property safely to get my steps in so as to keep my exercise routine going. Convenience stores are in walking distance as well as Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts if that appeals to you.

We had cigarette smoke in our room. It was coming from bathroom vent. Mgr gave us points towards another room. Unfortunately i was charged 60 dollars along with the points to stay at another hotel in Oklahoma. Wont be using IHG hotels ever again.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Facility was clean and the room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Definitely will stay here on our next trip to Augusta.
