The Sequoia Suite was very nice. The room was nicely decorated, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was a good size with stand up shower and tub. The pillows were a little uncomfortable. One was thicker than the other and very dense. More pillow options would be helpful. We never saw a staff member or talked to anyone. There wasn't a place to check-in when we arrived. I was texted a code for getting into our room. Also, they advertise that breakfast is included with the room, but it was little more than a few muffins or toast and coffee/tea. The food options were pretty sparse! We ended up going out to breakfast every day since we were hiking each day we were there.

What a beautiful cozy comfortable room! The breakfast was wonderful too! The bed was amazing, and the Sugar Pine room was perfect- beautiful wood paneling and decor. It was a dream room. The lodge is historical and wonderfully maintained! Close to skiing at China peak! Great stay❤️

The absolute cutest and most perfect place to stay in Shaver Lake! Everything about our stay was wonderful. The property was so cozy, charming, and had everything we needed for the perfect little getaway. The amenities were great and made our stay even more comfortable, and the staff was amazing—so kind, helpful, and great with communication from start to finish. You can tell they really care about making sure their guests have a great experience. We loved every minute of our stay and would absolutely come back. Such a little gem in Shaver Lake! 🤍🏔️
