Stayed here many times for Festival International. It’s not as good as it used to be. The breakfast seems scaled back from the previous visits & they were out of coffee when I went down on the 2nd morning. The housekeeping didn’t come by for our 2-night stay, so we weren’t stocked on coffee & the shower gel had run out. The floors were a bit sticky when we checked in. All in all, it seemed much better during previous stays. It was nice to have a 2 bedroom suite & it was comfortable, so those would be some positives. Also, check-in was super fast & front desk staff were friendly.

I was confused when I checked in when was asked for my bank card only to charge for pet fee. When Iwas ready to check out I was told they had no booking from Hotel.com. Even though I had reservation information was told it wasn't received. I had to call Hotel.com. Eventually, I chatted with hotel.com the representative was thorough and was able to get it rectified. But had to wait for a refund from Homewood. Was very disappointed that Hotel.com dropped the ball on not following through in submitting the reservation information to Homewood. All of this could have been avoided.

Hotel is in a great location, but the access is on a very busy road and it's hard to get in or out. Love the fact that this property offers suites, but the property is very dated and in poor condition.

First room didn't have hot water so we had to move. Overall the rooms were not clean with stains on carpet and curtains, mold around shower lever and handle in tub, shower glass door was stuck and had to pull it hard to open and carpet wasn't vacumned well. Just needs a thorough cleaning and some updating.

I really appreciated the easy check-in! The suite was absolutely amazing!! The breakfast was really tasty and filling.
I did not like that Expedia would not refund one night’s stay. We had to leave because the interstate we were traveling on was being closed because of wintery weather. Expedia also prevented me from getting my Hilton Honors points. I would have loved to stay until Monday, but I wouldn’t be able to make it home.

It’s an ok hotel but nothing special or unique about it. A little bit old and might need a slight “refresh”. Area is so-so as well. If you travel with kids you may want to chose a different one.

I always go and stay here when in Lafayette. The cleanliness and how safe we feel when here we cannot replace. I had friends stay at the holiday inn across the street considering a change and I'm glad I asked. They said the roaches were in the dining room and parking lot. At this Hilton there is absolute cleanliness and you won't regret staying here!

There was a cockroach in our room. The walls were dirty. The bed skirt was ripped. The floor was sticky. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating in changing rooms when I complained about the cockroach.

The stay was pretty good. My only complaint is that my grandson was playing with a new cell phone case I had purchased inside the the tv cubby hole. At the time I thought it was something that belonged to the hotel because I saw the Bible in there. I called the hotel to check and was told that they couldn’t check and that the room had already been cleaned and if anything was found it would’ve been brought to the front desk. We had checked out a couple of hours earlier. I couldn’t believe the room had already been cleaned because several people were waiting on rooms when we checked in. Anyway, I thought it would have been nice for the front desk clerk to check the tv cubby hole since we had traveled from Alabama and stayed in your hotel many times. Thanks, J. H.

Liked the suite size and layout. It is starting to show its age (sink was cracked and no bottom flapper on the shower door card water to go all over when taking a shower.

Over all stay was good. Not enough handicap parking and trash cans outside were overflowing. Would have liked pancakes or waffles and fresh eggs as a selection

Modern Louisiana-themed decor- very nice. Full kitchen with all the accessories available. Large bedroom with full privacy from the the spacious living room area quite impressive. Fantastic full spread breakfast inside the beautifully modern dining room area.

I did let the staff know that the bathroom sink had a crack and that it was there before I got to the room. They offered to have maintenance come to check. I told them it wasn’t leaking and appeared someone Must have tried to seal the underside. I have never seen a crack that large in a hotel sink before. Very sad that someone can be so abusive! Also, the small kitchen sink had stains that someone must have poured a very strong substance in it to stain it permanently. I tried to clean it but it was not coming off. I’m not upset about the sinks but very disappointed in our general public that abuses such a nice hotel! I live 5-10 minutes away and with my house on the market I prefer to use your hotel to bring my declawed kitty with me for safe keeping.

Hey great place people who work there really took care of us. Very clean nice place. Big problem it was a long weekend with a lot of kids and big families taking over the hotel. The staff did the best they could. Just did not feel comfortable with the families that were there

This was a nice property. The rooms are a nice size but a little outdated. The living room couch and chair were quite dirty and smelled pretty bad but the beds were great.

Very close to the airport, restaurants. Uber was available. Free shuttle to and from airport to the hotel. Staff was kind and friendly. Room was dark with good darkening curtains. Only 1 I’ve machine working on 1st floor. Pool was clean but very warm temperature like bath water but it’s august and temp was 100 degrees

Our room was very dirty. Food crumbs all over the floor. The table tops hadn’t even been wiped completely. The carpet was dingy and greasy feeling. We also had a hard time getting clean linens and towels. Glad we only stayed one night. It was disgusting.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and safe- which is all we were looking for in accommodations. I did find it odd that we were turned away at the front desk and not allowed to check in 20 minutes early... never had that issue anywhere, but what can you do? Maybe they were short staffed and couldn't clean the rooms until the very last second before someone checked in. If that is the case, I only hope whoever is in charge of hiring gets on that. Overall, a decent experience.

The room was exactly what you would expect. It was clean and the layout was good.
We got there late in the evening and the trash cans (all) were completely overflowing onto the ground which was fine but it was still that way at 9am the next morning.
The hallway leading to elevators had base molding torn back and missing.
Staff wasn’t friendly or rude, just not hospitable.
Sufficient place to stay. It felt safe.
Breakfast was the probably better than the average hot meal! Good job on that.

The fire sprinklers went off in the room next door to me. The staff was so slow to respond that it caused water to flood into my room from the hallway and connecting door. I spent my evening using up every towel in my room to mop up and wring out as much water as possible. The 3 employees on duty that night were well aware and did nothing to even attempt to remedy the situation. While I, as well as the many other guests were left with the mess and uncomfortable accommodations, the staff were outside chatting and smoking. Prior to this, my family and I have stayed at this hotel many times, but this time will be the last for us
