Our stay was fine for 1 night. We did hear the tv that was on in the middle of the night next door, the person in that room must have fallen asleep. The rooms had doors that opened right to the parking lot; I usually prefer interior corridors but the neighboring hotel was charging twice as much. The breakfast was nothing special but adequate—waffles, fruit, toast & cereal, plus coffee, tea, & juice.

We enjoyed our night and will return to.thus property again..The only problem we had is the people next door had their TV up too high talking extra loud. We had to have the front desk call them to shut them up.it was after 10 and that breaks a city ordinance about noise.

It is a older style motel, but was in pretty good shape. It worked out great for us because it's only 5 .minutes from our airport. Everything worked out good by staying there a d we plan on it again when we fly out of Punta Gorda.

Visit was good. Pastoral setting was accomplished with cow pasture across the road. Hot tub jets are weak. Cigar lounge and elevator are needed.

We just needed lodging close to the Punta Gorda airport for one night. It worked out great. The location was perfect.

The lobby staff was nice but at least two of them were in training. One of the trainees was the last two mornings person but should have a more knowledgeable person with her dealing with breakfast. Bed was not comfortable. At least it was clean and close to our event. Most hotels in Punta Horda are overpriced including this one.

I was trying to find a decently priced place to stay when i stumbled upon the Baymont. I was a little skeptical as it was a motel, but i was really pleased overall. The service was really good and room was super clean. I would definitely stay there again. It was as nice of a "motel" as i can remember staying in...ever.

The staff was friendly and check-in was quick. They recommended a transportation company for early pick up to the airport which was reasonably priced. Our room was adequate for an overnight stay however there was food left in the mini fridge from the previous occupants and a used bath towel was left on the back door of the bathroom. Other than that the room was clean and comfortable. I’d stay there again because of the proximity to the Punta Gorda airport.

I had no idea this was a doors on the outside motel. To me those are not as safe. I don’t know how I missed that. Luckily it’s a quick overnite due to a late flight arrival. The room is updated and very clean. Check in was quick and easy.

We thought for the price $166 a night with a fairly high rating, that this would be a nice place. After finding 2 roaches in our room throughout the night, as well as ants in the bed along with a roach on the breakfast buffet area. I'm afraid that we cannot recommend this location

My husband killed a couple of mosquitoes & we found a bedbug in our room. While walking down the stairs this morning I fell. It was still kind of dark & the area was poorly lit. No painted stripes on the edge of stairs & I missed the last one. Fell on the cement and bruised my knees & sprained my ankle. It could totally have been prevented had the stairs had a nonslip surface and/or better lighting.

The room was clean, door to the bathroom had some rust/dirt on it but everything else was very nice. Breakfast was good, sausage, eggs, waffles, cereals and fruit. Orange juice was very good. Staff was friendly. Fresh towels every day. There was a dehumidifier in the room but we did not need to use it.

Hotel was clean staff answered any questions we had. It was close to shopping,restaurants and gas stations so anything you needed was close by. Just far enough off the main road so it was quiet. Gym was small and simple.
