Our stay The Sands was wonderful. We had high expectations for our long awaited trip to Khao Lak and having already had a week of hectic sightseeing in busy Phuket, we were delighted to arrive to Khao Lak to a relaxing resort but with enough to keep the children entertained. We loved the local area which provided so many options for shopping and eating out. We had a swim up family room which had excellent facilities and was beautifully furnished. I have literally zero complaints!

Generally very nice hotel, amazing service from all of the crew, the rooms are nice, breakfast is very nice and has vas selection. The beach in front of the hotel is not the best. but the hotel has amazing pools.

Totaly very good We very enjoyed our stay in KATATANI. But a pot in our room made something food smell, when we mde water hot. We guess another guest might cook noodle or somthing in the pot. We can confirm the smell when we use the pot. It is difficult that hotel staff find the smell.

Liked that it was right on the beach and close to small town. Liked that it had a water park and kids club on site. Did not like that it was very crowded and too many people, too few sun beds. Staff were also not very Good at understanding English.

We absolutely loved our stay with all. Staff are so attentive and friendly couldn’t do enough to help us. We were lucky enough to be there for new years eve oh my goodness what a party!! Totally unexpected as we didn’t know it was happening, amazing food, entertainment, and the staff worked so hard all day and evening.

Great hotel to stay with kids at. The kids club and water park are huge and the food in the beach restaurant is amazing. Unfortunately there is only a small beach you can’t lay on. And it’s so humid that we weren’t able to get fresh air in our room cause of the Moskitos.

Excellent resort in Khao Lak. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable beds. Pools were amazing and both big and small kids absolutely loved lazy river. Food at Talay restaurant was delicious and staff always helpful. Definitely recommend this resort to everyone.

Quiteness. There should be more adult outdoor activities with group competition. The 2 singers during dinner were very good and versatile. Should have a time slot to invite diners to come on stage to sing or with the 2 singers.

The property is beautiful. It has many pools, for children, for adults, for families. There are spas to relax. The resort is attached to the beach so if you don't want to swim you can walk to the beach or take a swim in the ocean. The breakfast is excellent, good variety. You can have drinks and lunch by the pools. They also have a kids adventure park. I would go back again. The staff are very friendly, always smiling and do their best to keep everyone happy. There are life guards at the pool as well as on the beach. It is an hour and a half from Phuket International airport but it is worth it because of the quietness and relaxing atmosphere.

Really love this hotel. The hotel is comfortable and spacious , always has great service. Pool is beautiful and water park is always fun for the kids. Prices in the restaurants are reasonable. Stayed 5 times and will come again soon.

Lovely property, the grounds are immaculate, pools are great. Room with pool access fantastic. Property is doing some renovations to one of the buffet breakfast areas and the centre of the grounds. Found staff to be very accommodating.

Great resort if you have kids as it has a very nice water park with slides and other water features that will keep them happy for hours. The rooms are modern and very comfortable with one of the best beds that I have had in Thailand. The buffet breakfast is excellent and there are 2 other restaurants serving lunch and dinner. The prices are higher that the restaurants in the main road (a few minutes walk away) but not too expensive if you want to dine at the resort. Overall a very good choice if you have kids but even if you don’t and want quiet, there is an adults only pool right on the beach.

Beautiful and well-maintained facilities. Great waterpark area and kids club - great place for family holiday. Peaceful and serene hotel. Our family did enjoy our stay very much. Recommend Thai massage at sala beach front. When contacting hotel, we always received prompt and professional responses. Staffs onthe ground are attentive and friendly. We would definitely go back again.

This is THE place to stay in KhoaLak. It is good for afults but for families it is the BEST. 21 pools, a waterpark, a lake 6 restaurants and BEST staff ever.
