Only real negative there was no soap in the bathroom which was easily rectified by a visit to the front desk...an oversight no doubt

Our friends and I had a lovely stay and the staff were all so friendly and accommodating! We would love to stay here again.

The walls are very thin and are not soundproof at all. The rooms around us were very noisy and the sounds through the walls were enough to wake us up during the night. The front desk staff were pleasant.

Really enjoyed the pool, and hot tub, did not try the steam room perhaps on my next visit. Wonderful friendly staff.

Heating system was loud , room smell a little stuffy but was clean . Must of been the rugs

Bathroom sink was cracked was offered another room same size. Room was small, shower was ok if you were under 5 ft 10” otherwise you bend for it. Heat control only worked off heating unit , thermostat on walk did not work. Bath towels very rough
On plus size staff was great and meal from bar, chicken tenders was very good.
I won’t be staying here again.

Sketchy vibes, loud music playing at night in the lobby. Didn’t feel like a hotel, felt more like a brothel, never staying there again.

We used to stay at Microtel regularly when it first opened. It was a great value, well kept and clean.
Last year we stayed 1 night, but with our 2 yearbold and our dog. We found it to be a little tight. Our fault, not theirs.
This week we decided to give Microtel a try again, it had been awhile since we stayed there durong our travels. We got a "suite" that was nearly $400 after tax.
I didnt find it to be any larger then their normal rooms, or even offer anything the regular rooms didnt offer, besides a sink and a small bar. And the extra $200 charge. The "suite" didnt even have a tub to give my son a rinse in after the pool.
The pool area was looking rough, the rinse shower didnt work. We were handed 2 very small towels for my son and I to swim.
And the general cleanliness isnt up to the same standard it was when the Microtel first opened.
Compare that to the ACTUAL Suite we had in North Bay last night for half the price. 2 tvs, sitting area and 2 beds, bath tub, shower, tons of room, probably double the size. And a Robot Butler. A ROBOT BUTLER.
Half the price.
Probably will never stay at Microtel again.

We rented specifically this location because of your steam room and hot tub and neither worked drove 12 hours to stay a night and 12 hours return i was sore and would of loved those amenities

I like the pool and hot tub, however complimentary breakfast needs more healthy items such as fruit. I loved that they were offering lemon water all day long. It was nice to just walk up to the lobby to get fresh cold water.

I booked the wrong weekend and stayed there two weekends ago, and couldn’t get a refund through Expedia.., pretty disappointing honestly. Money waisted and never booking through you guys again. Thank you

Usual I camp on my own land ,but this week was so hot and humid that I couldn't sleep at night. So I looked around for the best price and cleanest hotel. Found micromotel and I'm not disappointed. Next time I'll bring my bathing suit.

I paid an exorbitant amount for something worth less than half of what I paid for: "Queen Suite" with a double bed. I believe it was one of the most expensive rooms on the property, at nearly $500 for one night on a weekday. When I saw the room, I figured I could have been renting from the Royal York for what I paid in this remote Northern Ontario community. The smell of the hallway was enough to turn my stomach. The breakfast was sub-par. My "special request" as I entered when booking online went completely unacknowledged. Signage directing travelers to the right entrance to hotel property did not exist - we ended up in the Walmart parking lot behind the hotel. I figured I could have stayed at a competing hotel for 2 nights in equal accommodations for the price I paid for this. And we weren't asked how our stay was. Incredibly let down and do not recommend a stay at this property unless you are paying anything more than a third of what I paid.

It’s a very nice and clean hotel. I now know why it’s called the microtel, the rooms are micro! I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay there more then 2 nights because of the room size.

Overall good, swimming area needs improvement, proper dressing rooms, towels and shower wasn’t working at the time we were there.

Bed were harding, kids running hallways echoed in the room, even if just walking. Bed were hard, odd smell in room. Only 2 towels for 3 people. Hot tub was closed, pool was freezing
