Property appears to have been recently made over, everything is new and fresh, extremely clean and although on the small side the rooms are perfect for overnight stays, comfortable bed and with more than enough tea/coffee supplies unlike a lot of places. The continental breakfast was excellent quality and plentiful.
We could not fault the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful.
Overall excellent value for money and we will definitely go back

A great location to stop after a long drive. Very convenient. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was spotless with lovely locally sourced products. Whilst we didn't eat dinner here it was busy and there us a children's play area too. We ate at the Hare & Hounds; a very pleasant 20 minute walk away. There is plenty of car parking spaces at the Gilpin. The breakfast is very basic. We would definitely stay again but not opt for the breakfast.

Stayed here one night on our way home to Scotland. The property is easy to find with plenty free parking. Easy check in with helpful, friendly staff. The room was very clean, tea and coffee in the room, everything you need. We had a meal here in the evening and it was delicious. Really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Gilpin Bridge Inn.
