Beautiful location in a lovely town. Grange and surrounding areas are a joy to visit. Commodore offers excellent views across the bay, close to lovely promenade, parks, shops and great places to eat and drink

Lovely place we've stayed here a few times and always had a pleasant stay. So close to the rail station and a lovely walk on the promenade.

Clean room with tea and coffee making facilities. There was a notice in the bathroom indicating that the water pressure may be low due to an old plumbing system but we had no issues with the water whatsoever. The view from the room, and indeed the balcony area in the pub, was absolutely superb. The local area is lovely too. Staff were nice and helpful too. The hotel is right on the waterfront, around a 10 min drive from Lakeside pier on Lake Windermere but I would personally recommend driving c.20 mins to Bowness on Windermere if you prefer a livelier location with more options.
My only comment would be the QR codes in the helpful information booklets provided took you to an old menu for the pub food and i think it would be beneficial if that could be updated.
