Very clean hotel with friendly staff

Very close to the center. We chosed the junior suite which had plenty of space. We enjoyed talking to the manager KUHN who was always very attentive. Breakfast offered a variety of products which I considered enough options of fruits. Quite clean and neat

It was so nice time in this hotel. The room was so cozy, felt like my own antique room, so comfortable bed condition, clean room and clean bathroom! Also the breakfast was so good. Staffs are so kind. One old couple said that they stayed at this hotel 40years ago. Super recommand. Also, famous pub, "Die Weisse" is 4minutes by walk from the hotel. 이 호텔 추천드려요. 유럽의 앤티크한 나만의 방에 온듯한 느낌이에요. 그리고 침대가 정말 편해요!!! 그리고 화장실도 넓고 깨끗해요!! 화장실에서 정말 음식 먹어도 될 정도로 깨끗해요 ㅋㅋㅋ 1912년에 세워진 호텔로 가족이 계속 운영하고 곳곳에 그림이 많고 아트적입니다. 조식때 어떤 서양 노부부가 40년전에도 여기서 묵으셨다고 해요. 다들 영어 잘 하시고, 조식 드시면 따로 3단 트레이에 치즈와 햄와 버터 등을 갔다주세요. 홈메이드 같은 핑거푸드들도 맛있고, 종류가 막 많은건 아니지만 아기자기 기분좋게 먹어서 이틀 내내 조식 다 먹었어요. 그리고 유명한 맥주집 "Die Weisse"도 걸어서 4분정도로 완전 코앞입니다!

Good location within an easy walking distance of town (~10 minutes). Bed was super comfortable, room clean, and staff was amazing. They provided a large list of local restaurants in the area, all of which we tried were superb

The hôtel in the Rupertgasse is very well situated within a good walking distance from the main places of interest in the town. In spite of the proximity to the busy tourist frequented area you feel as if you are in a quiet hôtel in the country! 100m from the hôtel in the same street - the Biergarten :) with some excellent Weisse bier for thirsty tourists and excellent food. When we stayed at the Bergland the weather was very hot but no need for air conditioning with the stone walls of the (19th century?) building.Just opening the windows at night and closing the windows and shutters in the day was enough for comfort along with the tower fan provided in the bedroom. Everything was kept very clean and nice to have such a modern bathroom.The room was furnished with taste and nice style making us feel at home. The hôtel owners were welcoming and always helpful for giving information about the visits to the surrounding places to visit. Taking a taxi is not expensive in Salzburg compared to France - only 6 euros between the station and the hôtel. If needed, a taxi can be called for from the hôtel (which we did when leaving). To sum up, a very enjoyable stay and don't hesitate to recommend the Bergland for a stay in Salzburg. By the way, for information, if you want to visit Hellbrunn (you should!) then take the bus number 10 from Mirabell Platz if you don't have a car. That bus stop is only about 12 minutes walk from the hôtel.

In a quiet part of the city, only 10 minutes walk from the centre. The hotel was clean and room 204 was spacious with a large bath room with an excellent shower. Great value for money.

This is a lovely small hotel about 15 minute walk from both the train station and city center. The owners and staff were so kind and attentive that I felt at home immediately. I stayed 5 nights and it was such a great visit. Breakfast was great, room large, clean and comfortable. Will recommend to anyone who comes to the wonderful city of Salzburg.

Hosts were extremely helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Had a small refrigerator and a kettle. There was an elevator. Good breakfast. Felt safe in the area.

Bergland is a lovely hotel about a 10 minute walk from Old Town Salzburg. We totally enjoyed our stay. Owners are welcoming, nice and do all to insure a comfortable stay. Good breakfast. Property clean and updated. Would definitely choose this hotel again and do recommend the Bergland.

A lovely small hotel just out of the core of Salzburg. Walking distance from downtown: it is nice and quiet and if you get the breakfast option, it is wonderful. Everything is very clean. The staff are all very friendly.

We stayed for two nights. Got great recommendations for dinner. 15 min walk to Mirabellplatz. Very good optional breakfast. Only downsize is the Instant tasting coffee.

Hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the old town. There is a delightful restaurant, Die Weisse down the street. Nice German breakfast, room is a good size and in a quiet neighbourhood. This is a nice small hotel. Internet could be better but might have been an issue in our room.

This is a lovely family owned hotel having a small but very clean room......the window opened to the garden and patio below......the bed was very Uncomfortable so I turned the mattress which helped.....in hindsight, I should have told the staff after the first night so a newer one could have perhaps been provided.....breakfast was delicious but a single coffee was very expensive if you didnt have their breakfast.....Hotel was in a quiet location within easy walking distance to attractions...

This is my second time staying at the Bergland in Salzburg. The last time was 13 years ago. Glad Peter and the hotel are still around. It's still a quaint place to stay and close to everything. Fine breakfast.

Friendly and helpful staff, close to bus lines, clean and quite.

Really nice, comfortable, friendly hotel, would recommend. Little bit of a walk from town and station, but nothing prohibitive.
