The penthouse suite that we booked wasn’t the same that was given to us. The check in staff was very friendly. The view is amazing, we just didn’t get the room pictured.

Great location near restaurants and shopping. Hotel is located on the promenade with a view of the Pacific Ocean. My room had a jet tub and fireplace. Great value for what I paid.

Great location for an amazing view of the beach... we were on the top floor.
Room is dated and a little worn out... stained carpet and bedspread. Bathroom was very small. Good news - the whole hotel is being updated. Maggies - the restaurant on the 1st floor is closed... not sure if will ever open again. The website photos are a little misleading.

My stay was fantastic! Loved the big tub looking out the windows either at the mountains or ocean. Was a plus having a microwave and the room was decorated with a spa concept. I will be back!!!

After i drove around the building that i guess was the office .a man finally noticed after 15 min of driving around and around .he asked if i was looking for the office ??by this time i was mad .long story short my payment was non refundable and i was done with them so i walked out and got another room else where

My husband and I visited for the weekend. Our room was upgraded upon check-in. The room was vaulted, clean and we had a great stay. The beach was just steps from the hotel! We will be back!

The view from the room was amazing and it went downhill from there. Stains on the bedding and carpet, dirty windows and mirrors, and tub looked iffy. Overall the room was very dated and disappointing.

The bathrooms turn into a Turkish bath after a few minutes of and is very unsafe. The whole bathroom smelled of mildew. Side note the garage smelled like a dumpster.

Room was filthy. Feet stuck to carpet. Ocean view room with windows so dirty it was like looking through frosted windows. Nails in the hallway from they remodel - supposedly from months ago...supposed to be a 1 bedroom penthouse...was two beds with one stuffed in a cubby 10 feet away. Was for 27 year anniversary, wife's birthday and 1st vacation in 15 years. Town was sold out so had to stay or sleep in my vehicle. Cancelled the remaining stay.
Office staff was nice but never heard back after expressing my abject disappointment and requested a refund. So....weird. I don't have words to express what a disaster this was. Would never recommend this business. Oh, well...live and learn

Absolutely fantastic! The penthouse view was spectacular. The bed was a dream cloud. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and felt welcoming. We did not eat at the Maggie restaurant below the hotel, but there are several great shops in walking distance. We recommend Norma's 9/10

Location good but parking TERRIBLE. Bedding on queen bed was wrong size, creating tripping risk on bedskirt and top sheet. Absolutely NO place to put anything bigger than a cell phone. The one window that should have been openable was screwed shut. Blinds should open from top for a little privacy. Got food poisoning from Maggie’s under-heated chowder. Ghastly experience.

We always enjoy our stay at the Seaside Oceanfront Inn! We've returned 5 years in a row and stayed in several different rooms. This year they'd updated the carpet, walls, fixtures and otherwise and it was a lovely surprise. We will continue to visit them when we are in Oregon.

You pull up and there is no parking. The check in desk is in a concrete building separate from the hotel. There are 5 parking spots otherwise you have to park across the street. The room was small and dingy, the walls were thin so you heard everything. The partial ocean view, was a side window with not much of a view it was mostly the hotel next door and parking lot. The windows don’t open so you can’t hear the ocean. There was mold on the cocking around the tub. There were stains on the carpet, no breakfast.
The restaurant down stairs was nice but they don’t serve breakfast. It’s great that it is on the promenade. However I would not recommend it to my friends.

The Ocean view rooms are worth the money. Elevator is great. Right on the Promenade for seaside stroll.
We had small trouble with the coffee maker but Naomi left the front desk to help us. She also assisted us well with eating options. Naomi is personable and pleasant. ( Give her a raise ). *Good luck in your Vet. future.

I liked the location of the hotel. I did not like the lack of parking on the property grounds. I was shocked of the lack of care the owners/maintenance team puts into this property. Vanity faucet was to small, and leaked water all over the countertop when you used it. The tub was extremely slippery when using the shower (accident waiting to happen). Someone thought white caulk would look best around the tile shower surround instead of using colored sanded caulk that matches the grout. The base boards were in poor condition and the drywall looked like a kindergartener repaired them (over and over again). The paint colors were to dark. The vanity light had two burned out light bulbs. Burned out light bulbs in the front room. The egress window was screwed shut (Against fire and building codes) No where near the bed to plug your phone charger in due to the bedframe covering the outlet. THE BED FELT LIKE I WAS SLEEPING ON A PARK BENCH. I was awaken by a Loud obnoxious women carrying on her "work" conversation away from her room (with relatives visiting from out of state). I heard all about her physical therapy treatments with animals. This went on for over 30 minutes. (They were staying in the Lewis & Clark room) When I checked out the staff didn't bother to ask me how my stay was. I would have rated this place a 5 star had the owners just invested in some nice,softer, higher quality beds aka: like Surfsand Resort has.

The property was the perfect beach hotel. Each rom has its own name and you feel at home. I loved the ocean front view we had. Small quaint hotel. Located perfectly to walk to all the restaurants, shopping and beach

The room was unacceptable having the shower in an open not private area of the room. Especially for a room that claims to sleep 5. We had to use sheets to hang over the railing to offer some type of privacy and towel off on our knees. The carpet was filthy. Especially the stairs which were covered with various clumps of hair. No manager available at checkin to help us with these unhealthy and inappropriate issues. The girl that checked us in was very nice and helped the best she could when we wanted a manager to refund our reservation.

Only good thing was air conditioning. Otherwise pictures dont mean a thing. Old building dirty parking horrible had to beg for towels 3 times for a 3 night stay. Beach isnt the cleaniest lots of garbage seaside is a day trip definitely.

We stayed in the mountain view room before we stayed in the ocean view room and it had a great view of the mountains and parking lot. It was a bit loud next to the ice machine and sound did travel through the walls. Very clean though and staff were very helpful.

Positives: the staff was warm and welcoming. Close to the main drag of seaside. Great view of the beach. Seemed to be cleaned as well as it could be.
Negatives: the room looked much nicer in the picture. The main room area was very worn down. There was a large hole in the wall, night stand very chipped and worn, chairs frayed, furniture is pretty old and dated. The bathroom kind of grossed me out. It was very dimly lit, lots of cracks and chips, no soap dish or bath mat, non traditional bath towels (dark grey, so couldn’t tell if they were clean or not), just overall dark and dingy.

Pros - Oceanfront and parking onsite.
Cons - Honestly this place needs to be dozed and start over.
We had the top floor NW Timber Room (The Penthouse) The center window looking out to the ocean needs replacement as it has condensation inside and the one above as well. The screen on side window is bent and ripped (safety concern being on top floor??)
Carpet is GROSS and STAINED, Bathroom floor on main level is gross and sticky with ?? Upstairs is a very old walk in angled shower and a jaccuzzi bathtub that is very old and green tile/plastic.
Linens had stains.
Club chairs were falling apart.
Hair ties with hair in it left from someone on the nighstand.
Stairwells and elevators, yikes!
Restaurant below on main level "Maggies" appears to be a big hit for those that want to spend LOTS money on mostly seafood. We did not try.
We will never return to this property.
