We had a wonderful stay at La Siesta Classic Ma May and would happily return.
The location is excellent for exploring the Old Quarter, and the rooftop bar is a real highlight with fantastic views across Hanoi. On one evening the atmosphere was slightly affected by a small group of guests playing their own music, which the staff appeared to find difficult to manage, but this was very much the exception rather than the rule.
The breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice and consistently high quality.
What really sets this hotel apart, however, is the staff. They were warm, attentive and genuinely caring throughout our stay. In particular, when my wife became unwell and we needed to extend our stay by an extra night, the team could not have been more helpful or accommodating. Their kindness and professionalism during a stressful situation made a real difference.
A lovely hotel, but most importantly, a lovely team. Thank you to everyone at La Siesta for looking after us so well.

La Siesta Ma May is located in the Old Quarter where every restaurant, shop, market is accessible on foot. We loved that it was quiet in the room, despite being in a busy area. The rooftop bar was a great place to wind down after a long day.
Breakfast was always something we looked forward to. They served good selection of food, including Pho.
Any special requests was handled with enthusiasm, professionalism and wonderful attitude by the entire staff. Special mention to Ann and her team for looking after our needs.
Anh Vu, did a great job when we celebrated my wife’s birthday dinner at the hotel.
The bed was big and comfortable, room was clean and we were provided with rubber slippers and robes for the entire stay.
I would highly recommend this hotel, for those who staying in Hanoi.
