The property sits on the Volta River with beautiful views. The boat ride was amazing and can be easily accessed right on the property. The staff anticipated your every move and was there to accommodate. We had a couples massage that was great and so affordable. Breakfast was great and so was the lunch buffet on Sunday.

Liked: the view of the grounds and the river, a deep bath and shower very stylish and at great temperature, even the floor was excellent: a sort of stone slab warm to the touch and very clean. the boat tour and walk on the protected island excellent as well. Staff were quick to respond to some minor issues. Loved the pool and the massage. Disliked: *the toilet door is just a carved out screen, no privacy at all (but it has a lock haha) *reception booked us a tour to a gorge to see the very rare bald crow but didn’t tell us it was a very steep hike (we are 60 and have knee problems) and at a time there were no birds around as they move away from their nests during the day, so either early morning or end of the day should have been recommended.

Perfect location for a quite holiday. Beautiful environment, very friendly staff and good food. Rooms need touch up and thorough cleaning. Extras on room(eg. room service) should be Farely charged.

Nice facility ..... great and friendly staff . Room was very neat a little smaller than I anticipated . The buffet breakfast was awesome and the restaurant has an extensive menu for lunch and dinner . I was also a little disappointed that there was no iron or ironing board in the "basic room ". I was charged for having my clothes ironed . In all in all a great hotel with picturesque views and outstanding facilities . I highly recommend this resort without any reservations .

Property was beautiful and peacocks walking around were amazing. Had a nice river boat cruise and meals were excellent...the view from the room was perfect. I didnt want to leave. I will definitely return. Kudos to The Royal Senchi

We've stayed at Royal Senchi before. It was good then, it's even better now - with more free facilities for guests to use. Wonderful room - all Covid protected. Good food, great cocktails, very efficient and friendly staff. Yes, the poolside wood needs attention (a job for next year?), but we enjoyed the pool, golf driving range and bars. The nature reserve was a bit disappointing, but we should have gone early in the morning rather than at midday. Next time we need to use the gym and tennis courts more. We wanted a place where we could wind down after a hectic couple of weeks; the Royal Senchi Hotel served our needs perfectly.

The worse regard for customers I have ever seen. At 0320 in the morning they started constructing a wedding stage in front of my window - my complain was ignored at first, later they offered me at 0400 in the morning to change the room. I will never go back and will not recommend at all. Otherwise a nice place, but costly for the experience I had.

We had a wonderful stay. The entire staff was courteous and helpful, the rooms were lovely with nice extra touches, and the facilities (pool, play area, treehouse/dining area) were excellent. I didn't expect this to be such a wonderful stay, but I was pleasantly surprised. And an extra thank you to Asare, the Royal Senchi's head electrician, for going above and beyond to help us recharge our electric car! I know no one at the hotel had ever seen one before, but Asare and his team did everything they could to make it work.

Beautiful grounds, well maintained. We had to switch rooms due to the shower not working. Also, there were wifi problems the whole time. They also double charged us when checking out, took over a month for them to clear it up and refund us.

It was a beautiful getaway outside Accra fast pace. I enjoyed the views of the river, the music and atmosphere plus the boat rides and tours to Akosombo dam and the Adomi Bridge.

The Royal Senji was simply one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The grounds and the buildings are beautiful and the service is the very best. The hotel owns it’s very own nature preserve island and hiking its trials was a surprise treat. One thing a traveler should know- there is really loud music playing at near all times from the lobby and surrounding hotels - it was fine at night because my room was far from the lobby, but if you value solitude you might want to pick one of the outer rooms. Overall a lovely hotel and amazing staff.

It's a beautiful hotel. We stayed here for two nights. It can be very pricey for the area. The amenities are excellent and the furnishings in the room are of high quality. I have traveled to more than 30 countries and stayed in over 100 properties, it is only at this hotel that the bedrooms all had Nespresso machines. I enjoy my cup of expresso made from my Nespresso every morning and this hotel made me feel at home. The complimentary bar in the rooms was a nice gesture. Two things that the hotel can improve: they need to make breakfast complimentary. Most hotels in Ghana offer that. For the price they charge, they could include breakfast. Also, the hotel could use some room darkening blinds. I had to use my eye masks.
