The room was ok. I noticed food and wrappers on the floor and under the beds. The walls were dirty. The beds were good, linen appeared clean. The hotel was quiet, polite staff.

The only thing odd about the room was that the refrigerator did not have a freezer section, so I was unable to recharge my freezer packs for my cooler. I was told by the front desk that none of the rooms have a refrigerator with a freezer in it. Part of the reason I chose a suite was that all other LaQuinta's suites I have stayed at have at least a small 'fridge with a freeze section, yet most have a standard sized refrigerators with freezers, and I was en-route bringing home eggs from my relative's farm.

I have stayed at this property in the past. It does seem to be showing some wear and tear since I've last been there. My room was clean, but my relatives said their bathrooms were not very clean. There was something very wrong with the scrambled eggs during my first breakfast, but they were improved the next two days. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Saturday night and Sunday morning were not very quiet, as there were many young hockey players staying there with their families.

Hotel common areas and rooms/suites are quite nice, staff are great but the pool area is in rough shape. The pool however is no deal breaker for us, hotel was great and we will be back.

Really enjoyed our stay here. We got a great deal on our room. Handy summary paper included with room card key showing important info. One of the actual cleanest rooms I’ve stayed in, not just an artificial clean smell like most places. Two televisions in our room. Not sure if this has been renovated or if it’s a newer motel but everything is great quality, not just repainted sloppily over top of everything like the majority of motels. The only downside was they forgot to vacuum under the pull out sofa bed which had water bottle and socks etc under it. Breakfast was great too, with the regular options. Waffle and pancake maker, fresh fruit, baked goods, breads, cereals, yogurt etc. I liked that one side of the breakfast room had food and the other side had the drinks. Altogether, if I was able to get a similar price again next time I’m in the area, I would definitely stay here and will be recommending this location if asked for recommendations in that area. Hotels doesn’t let me add photos but on my google review I added photos.

Dirty/used towels in the closet when arrived. Check in ladies seemed to be on their phones a lot, not really engaging, just did necessary check in. Did not go 'the extra mile' to keep customers feel welcome.

Most everything about our stay was good. However we would be reluctant to stay again because of noise---unusual, loud TV noise, heavy closing room doors, loud bathroom fan & nearby trains.

Our room had not been vacuumed and there was food crumbs on many parts of the floor. We reported it to the front desk asking for it to be cleaned and they never came. Two pillows were missing pillow cases. And the hot tub was not hot. The rest of the experience was good.
