Over priced. Fridge didn’t work plugged in but no where near cold. Tv kept freezing. Couldn’t understand the employees. Like they need to be taught English. Website said breakfast was at 6:30 but didn’t start til 7. Elevator sounded like it was falling apart. Parking lot was tight and not enough room for two cars to pass each other.

The hotel called me while at the competition because we had not checked in yet, asked me what time we would be at the hotel. I sound that to be rude. Our keys wouldn’t work. They had to replace the door handle by morning. There were ppl yelling at each other in the hallways. It was ridiculous. There’s were a handful of us that stayed there because it was a cheap hotel for the weekend for then comp. Never again.

Stay was comfortable. Rooms were nice and spacious and beds were comfortable. However, bedsheets were not very clean. There were stains on the sheets. Our bathroom was clean and I appreciated the complimentary soap and body lotion. We had issues with the bathtub drain, though. The water wouldn’t go down and I think there was excess hair and dirt stuck in the drain that has never been cleaned out. We also found dog food on the floor that has never been cleaned. Cleanliness needs major improvement, but overall the stay was decent for the price.

Had to switch from the first floor room which had dirty walls, bedding, doors and headboards to a third floor room which was just a little better. The chairs in both rooms were covered in stains.

Do not stay here. This hotel tried to charged me an extra $25 for pet fee and also tried to charge me extra $125 for deposit. My experience with the deposit based on 100s of hotel stays over the years, the deposit shows up as pending on my credit card then just goes away when I check out. The fee actually never goes through, however, for this hotel it did go through. I called the hotel and they said it will take 3-5 business day for the refund, I’m still waiting for it, hopefully I get it. As for the pet fee, it took me 30 mins conversation when I checked out to get it off. I was there only 1 night and pet fee is $25/night and they charged me $50. Again, I still don’t see the refund for the $25.

Room is clean. Damage to bathroom wall/ceiling, showerhead spraying water everywhere. Looks as though must have had recent water damage (assumption) vesituble when entering is completely gutted over head (rafters drywall dust on items) in addition to one of the interior walls has missing drywall leading to assumption of water damage.

My son was travelling back to college and other hotels in the area would not house him as a 20 year old. I appreciated that LaQuinta Inn did not have such a restriction.

Overall everything was good, nothing to write home about but beds were clean, bathroom was clean, could use some dusting as there was quite a bit of dust on things. Only thing I would say that needs work is their free breakfast, we were there two nights but went out and got food for the second day because it wasn't worth it.

Blanket on one bed had a burnt spot in a no-smoking room. The coverlets on both beds had marks of dirty shoes. Hair,not belonging to us, was on bathroom floor Lamp between the beds had nonworking plugs.

Hotels.com operation is terrible. They don’t communicate with the properties they allegedly represent. If they did they would know that I canceled my duplicate reservation at La Quinta Collinsville for 12/19/24 last week while I stayed at the property. I was unable to get my prepaid money back from Hotels.com nor La Quinta because of their lack of communication, poor customer service, and bad business practices. I would advise avoiding Hotels.com

The staff was the absolute worse. When we checked in to start our vacation it took an hour to even get checked in because the guy at the desk was to worried about his phone and then they tried to tell me I havent paid for my room and tried to charge me multiple times when i had the receipt saying my room was paid for way in advance. Then saturday night when he got back to our hotel at 1am after a day at Dirt Nationals we found my sister and her fiances stuff packed in boxes in the lobby. They had kicked her out of her room with NO WARNING. They called her at 9am that morning and asked if they were checking out today or staying another day. They said that they are staying another day and will be checking out Sunday. They said ok. We left the hotel at 1pm to get lunch and head to the dome. We walked right passed the front desk where they were all standing and not a word was said about not being checked out or anything. They smiled and said "have fun".

The property is convenient to get to (right off I-70). Lobby has been updated and it has decent breakfast. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. No bad smells in the room and the property is non smoking. Those are all important factors for our travel.

This is an older property that has been freshened up. The lobby and outdoor appearance is nice, while the rooms are fine. We stayed because they are pet friendly. The staff was VERY friendly and responded to the only issue (loose toilet seat) the very day I mentioned it. My only complaint is the paper-thin walls. We stayed in a room with an adjourning door to the next room and you could hear EVERYTHING going on next door. Surely there is a way to solve that. We took a blanket from the laundry room while no one noticed and blocked the bottom of the joint door. It helped a little but not enough.

Moving from Virginia to Colorado, I have been driving cross-country with my dog, and I will probably do so again soon for the holidays. I have stayed at good hotels and lousy ones, some really terrible. This La Quinta was great, and it is going on my list for repeat stays. The staff was really welcoming and my room was affordable and clean. I highly recommend this hotel for travelers.

This hotel’s photos are very deceiving. The hotel is super old and needs to be remodeled not just painted. All the linens were super worn and dingy. Carpets were gross in room and throughout hotel.

Worst hotel ever.. extremely dissatisfied. The first room we checked into as usual I always inspect beds for bed bugs. When I pulled back the sheets I found crusty socks by the headboard.. there was candy behind the night stand and our toilet was leaking.. I went down stairs to tell them they took the socks and offered a new room.. this room was a bit better aside from the pubic hair on the beds and dust think enough in the bathroom to write in.. I couldn’t even sleep because I was just so disgusted.. don’t be fooled by the pictures because the rooms are in worse shape then they show. The breakfast in the morning was also a bust.. the pancake maker doesn’t even fully cook the pancakes so they came out doughy and floppy.. just overall a horrible stay and if you have any sense take your money to a better hotel!

Room was assigned in front of the elevator and ice machine, so there was a lot of noise. Trash can was not emptied from previous guests . No hand soap in the bathroom. Room thermostat not functioning. Switched rooms but ended up next to the exit stairs, so still had people slamming the door when leaving.

Very friendly & knowledgeable staff. Room was very neat & clean. The biggest drawback was how much noise we could hear from the room above us (fortunately, they did quiet down before bedtime).
