When I got there I didn't realize that everyone was able to sleep together, and I was very upset with how they did not have to wear masked because of the covid 19, I had to check into another hotel. I feel that my health was compromised because of that. I asked for a refund and they refused to give it to me.I spent $68 on a coed hotel where everyone slept with everyone. I am asking how do I get my refund back?

It was very beautiful downstairs! The common room and kitchen was very nice and organized also super colorful. Went to the room and the AC was on but no air flow whatsoever. Another issue was that nobody in there had any mask on for covid and understanding that the staff had that chill vibe going on it would’ve been nice if hand sanitizer was accessible along with soap in the upstairs bathroom! The bathrooms are a completely different story! we went into the private bathroom and there was hair around the toilet underneath the seat. No toilet paper was in there also no hand soap so I can wash after. People are loud at night even though they are friendly. Earbuds are accessible. So the cons are that the room was very hot even when the ac was on due to the vents being covered in dust. The restrooms were minimal not kept in the best manners especially during covid. Cleanliness could’ve been kept better but it’s not too horrible due to it being a hostel. Pros was that besides the room and bathroom the common room and kitchen were very nice but a place to stay at for a night I wouldn’t personally do. I’d probably come during winter when I know AC would like a little help from the weather. Sometimes people seemed too “cool” to have a conversation with you but it’s no big deal to me.

It was average.

House up a hill was generally comfortable, nicely decorated and clean. Bathroom was huge upstairs. The downstairs one had a bath too. Also other toilets downstairs. Kitchen was convenient and tv room cozy. Outside sitting area pleasant to enjoy the sunshine. Location convenient enough and not too busy. Good wifi during our stay. Great first impression from Ciro(?) hope its spelt right, from S. America and Earl(?), from USA, hope we got his name right too. He was always welcoming too and helpful. Saw him busy with other guests, cleaning and caring for the plants. On the negative. Unfortunately there were a couple of people who made us feel unwelcome and we weren't sure if they were guests, or staff, until later. Believe one was a house manager(light hair)and the other named Olivia(dark hair) from what was heard in passing. It was as though the house belonged to them and guests were annoyances to be ignored, tolerated or just be rude to. Very strange that they even work there. Did not see them working. Only hanging about at the house. The mixed room also did not smell great during our stay. But that would depend on the other guests there. There are stairs to climb going to the front door so its a little more of a work out. But noticed there's also an outside disabled type lift.

It's located close to everything important, they have a great fee for bike rental and that way you get to see most of SD. Great staff and everyone respects house rules. Would recommend and stay again.

Good cheap place, centrally located, not for everyone because it’s a hostel, and you sleep near stragers.

It was amazing, the friendliness, the care for people etc.

It was nice enough for a hostel but the problem was the noise. I was there two nights, the first night there was partying until 4:15am with loud music, yelling, and piano playing that kept both me and my bunk mate up all night. The second night was a little better but still had loud music until past midnight when my other bunk mate asked to leave.

The atmosphere was very friendly and easy going. Great prices for the place. It was my first time at a hostel, but I will definitely come to a hostel again based on this experience. There was free parking close by and free breakfast. Lots of events done by the hostel to get you involved. Definitely a nice place to come.

I soon as i saw the facilities and found out that we had to share the shower and bathroom with the rest of the residents we left the premises. Terrible experience. I won't recomend this Hotel to anybody...

Really nice people are being hosted in the hostel, they help you letting you know where to park, breakfast in the morning, there is somebody 24 hours in case you arrive late. =)

Nothing. It’s a junkie kinda house. Nothing too much to say

Just curious to know, how I can file a complaint for items ( not just left around randomly), but that we're taken from the tenant I was staying in while taking a nap before work.? I brought this matter to the attention of the so-called boarding staff at the ITH & was told I so-called signed a voucher excusing theif within the property?? Basically I was treated like I was wrong! That's completely false. The only thing I signed upon arriving was for my visa. I'm trying my best to refrain from leaving a side-ways review of this place completely over looking the bad in this place and utilizing the positive. But the GO-HAPPY-PARTY-STAFF circle at the hostel did nothing, to inforce the policies of this place, nor even question the so called housekeeping/party staff that run the hostel. (Its was evident who took my belongings; either the housekeeper, who may have took it thinking the last person who slept there left it behind or the other transient who took a shower & thought the same, before he left. Thinking hey I came up! Because there's only 2 outlets in the room both ackwardly by bunks that port the outlet).This is really upsetting for me, I invested a bit of time & money into this place only to be disappointed by staff that seem to stick up for there crush-partner-party-friends. Unfortunately I still owe T-Mobile $96.98 on the stolen property that was taken out the room, that can only be entered by code. If there is no reincompensation push forth in this matter.

Room was fine. Bathroom situation is weird but fine. It was cool for a one night stay.

Very easy and quick to check-in, reception staff were attentive, clear and helpful. Cute and comfortable, stayed in a 4-bed shared accomodation with alternating roommates over 3 days. I stayed in a different building right around the corner and it was very silent and chill, bathrooms were kept clean and tidy. Only complaint was having to go to the other building to pick up towels, but only had to do that twice over 3 days. Complimentary breakfast was also very good with good selection. Great for a quick stay, very pleased with the experience.
