Room was small but had what you need for a comfortable stay. Housekeeper was wonderful & room was spotless. Bathroom was updated & had plenty of towels.
Coffeemaker & fridge in room was appreciated. Yes, parking is limited but we were lucky & parked easily at property. We chose Berkshire for price & location ( near Lafayette Hotel & lots of breweries) & walked everywhere.
We'd stay again.

My room was very small, BUT it was all I needed. Traveling solo this time, out of the room most of the day, no need for extra amenities. Paid less than $100 per day, in San Diego, near all the major sites, excellent deal. Room was clean, staff was most helpful and polite.
Very minor complaints ... room could've used a microwave oven, and the bathroom sink was very small (easy to splash water all over, and bump your head on the wall if you're just washing your face).
Read reviews saying parking was limited, and it is, but I always was able to park in the motel lot ... and there is plenty of street parking, if you need it.
Would I stay there again? Absolutely!
