Our stay was short, but sweet! The reception was very helpful and friendly, especially Tanya! It was also good to have a hot breakfast sandwich!

A few friends of mine stayed in the triple room and I can’t complain about anything. The room was great, beds were comfortable, great location, and the hot tub is the best part.

We really enjoyed staying at the Durango Lodge. It was in a very convenient walk-able location to everything. The front desk people were very nice. We opted to not have our room cleaned while we were there due to the dog. We will be back

Easy access to downtown and didn't have to drive around. Nice room but lot's of noisy people stayed there. Breakfast was good and the staff was very nice and helpful.

Hotel is older but they have done a nice job in renovating it to be more “up to date”. The staff was pleasant and I had great conversations with all who I interacted with. The only negative is that they need to update their Wi-Fi capability to todays standard.

Picked for location. Only 1/2 block from the Silverton train station.

Very clean. No frills. No view. VERY comfy bed! New carpet in my room. Extremely quiet. Super close to the train station and still quiet.

Perfect place to stay for a ride on the Polar Express!

Perfect location for a walkable stay! Front desk personnel were knowledgeable and kind. Will stay again :)

Great location, if you don’t mind the train at 8am, which we liked. The bed was really comfortable. Tiny shower and not as clean in the bathroom as we would like.
Nice to have coffee in the room and black out shades.
Felt like a motel.

Location is excellent.. steps from the train and close to downtown. The room was clean and comfortable. On the downside, the young man checking us in was sullen and though he said there would be be breakfast sandwiches avail, there was not. “Breakfast” Was seriously lacking. The jacuzzi was broken. And though we requested one time maid service, they ignored the request.
I would recommend staying here but don’t expect much.

Perfect walking distance to the Durango & Silverton Railroad. We were late checking in due to vehicle problems and the front desk was nice enough to let us check in after 10pm. Awesome customer service and clean rooms.

We stay here annually for the Durango Cowboy Gathering. Love the location and the balcony!! Staff is fabulous!

Great location near the railway, downtown and lots of restaurant options.

The parking situation is awful if you’re meeting someone and have more than one vehicle. We had two different rooms (my fault) and first was a little cramped. Very convenient for the train and great access to anything you could want for shopping and food.

great place to stay if taking the train

The room was clean and comfortable but a little crowded for 4 in a double bed room. The queen bed room for 2nd night was awesome. Parking situation is a mess. I met family there to stay before catching the train. You get 1 spot per room and anyone else has to park a couple blocks away or pay to park. Some folks checked in for 3 rooms and only had 2 vehicles so we lucked out and got an extra space the first night. Second night we were out of luck. It is super convenient for the train. Anything you want is within walking distance.

Within minutes of walking and being in the Old Town. Across street from Durango Railroad.

Breakfast was limited and in the office—only two seats and tired convenience store pastries. Box cereals but no milk in sight.

We had a nice stay and would recommend to anyone

This is a very basic older motel that is well located. Nice people. But it is very basic, dark and a little noisy. The balcony view was a construction site when we were there. Parking is tight. Breakfast is basically sweet stuff put out in the small front office. This is not a bad place but I don’t understand the high ratings. To me, six is unfair, but eight is too high.

A great location, great staff and staple in Durango!

Great location. Motel was underwhelming and Dude at front desk had no understanding of customer service.

Durango is a busy place having said that this little lodge is nestled in the heart of it. Close to the Train station and walks away from everything. The lodge looks as though it was built in the 70's, but the room was not fancy but had everything we needed and was clean very clean. Breakfast was simple fruit, yogurt some breakfast sandwiches by request .... coffee was good, coffee makers and frig in room. Also here is a great bakery called Bread just a few block walk .... and if you are into bagels a bagel coffee place just out of the parking area to the left.

Not bad, considering its’ age. Surrounding one-way street grid makes parking access more difficult than it should be.

An older property but in an idea area

The beds were really comfortable. The room was clean. The breakfast was not great. Would like a more fresh breakfast.
