Summer Luxury Beach Resort is a strange place. It features a mid-century Americana Motel design but doesn’t quite pull it off. The rooms are huge and spotlessly clean, all featuring big balconies or terraces. Unfortunately the pool isn’t very pleasant and during our stay was overrun with very noisy children - this is more of a family hotel than a chilled adult place. The food in the restaurant is ok for lunch and dinner, but really bad at breakfast. There are no covers on the food, meaning lots of flies all over everything, everywhere else in Thailand seems to have plastic covers, why not here? Another design flaw is the hotels position on the seafront. There is no beach at this point, just a rocky point but you can walk to the beach very easily. I was amazed that the architect didn’t make more of the seafront position by adding a pool or at lease giving more rooms a sea view! Anyway, we escaped the din of the pool by walking 5 minutes down the beach which has a collection of chilled out bungalow operations. It’s a nice beach though very shallow and not great for swimming. Food was better at the backpacker bungalow than the hotel.

Everything was excellent but if your looking for a resort with a nice beach setup and not alot of rocks, look elsewhere. But for those who don't care about that and enjoy a nice pool with nice size rooms you probably won't find better.

Fond memories of my stay here. The staff was friendly and polite and ready to assist with any requests. Rooms were bright and spacious.

Only problem we had was after I prepaid for my booking they gave us a room with 2 single beds and when I told them I booked a double for me and my wife. They sent 3 emails telling us if we wanted one bed it would be an extra charge of 1000 thb. A nite.

It was worth the 15+hrs to get to this resort. It was even better than the reviews online. After my stay I will definitely make the trip back to the Summer Luxury Resort.

Not a 5 Star resort but very comfortable and well rounded. Hotel restaurant is very nice both from quality of food to beautiful beach views Staff very pleasant and eager to assist. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Great place. Amazing resort. Do not rent bike from their third party company. They ripped us off and threatened us.

This hotel looks amazing in photos or driving by. It certainly is nice but overall a very average place to stay. No beach either. Rooms are very large though which is quite nice. Lots of bugs due to location. Overdone F+B experience, average food and beverage for price.

The hotel facilities were good. However, terrible staff and customer service. Called for Room Service and they brought down a wine which i did not order; tried to make me take it even though i don't drink wine! When checking out they charged me for 2 burgers even though i only had one and they had previously stuffed up the order! Came banging on the door to deliver room service on the second day; even I did not order any, got woken up so was not very pleased!! On the third day, we only had the one toilet roll which ran out. Called the reception to bring us another one but they never came so I had to physically go ask for it myself. Not happy with the service from this hotel. Also, the hotel is very secluded and not close to any shops or food places. Not Recommended!

Lovely large room and bathroom. Very comfortable. Hotel had a very cool boutique vibe. Air con seemed to turn off in the middle of the night every night. Other than that all positive! The staff at breakfast were amazing, the boys had great service skills and the coffee was really nice! Amazing place for the price. Would stay again

The resort is very nice and clean, the swimming pool is shallow all the way but the whole swimming pool area is very well setup and relaxing. The room was spacey and overall good but the bed could've be a little softer for my taste. Restaurant and spa top class.

The location was perfect. It is right on the gulf of Thailand, and in close proximity to restaurants. The staff were so friendly, a nice wai everytime we saw them. And the rooms were perfect too. I would reccomend everyone to stay here.

Gorgeous hotel & friendly staff. Dont let the rocky road up there fool you as once you get there its phenomenal. Gorgeous boutique decor and the biggest room for a fabulous price. We stayed an extra night it was so great.

Staff were lovely, hotel room was spacious and beautifully decorated and pool area was nice too. Hotel arranges pick up and drop off to the full moon party, about a 20 minute ride. Don't bother trying to stay as close as possible to the full moon beach. Easy to get transport everywhere and the island isn't too big :)

My wife and I were in Koh Panghan for the full moon party. The ground staff at this resort is fairly untrained. They did not have the capability to provide basic concierge service like helping book a scooter (which you need to move around the island), or book a boat to go to the next island. They have zero contacts with service providers so you are stuck with doing everything yourself. Infact they did not even bother to inform us at the time of our check-in that getting boat bookings will be difficult when we check-out (the day after the full moon party) so we were left scrambling in the end trying to figure out how to leave the island. had they informed us when we checked in we would have had ample time to make necessary arrangements. the road to the resort is also very muddy and non-paved so you absolutely need a scooter to move around, but they dont have any scooter rentals on property so you have to take a hike far away to find a rental company.
