Breakfast was a bit of a let down, certainly nothing special but it was ok. The rooms were cute and looked nice. The view of the sea was beautiful but on entering I’m really not sure if it was even the sea, it seemed to be covered in oil - likely from the boats nearby.
The room was full of mosquitoes - it was so hard to get rid of them. The bathroom seemed to be ventilated by holes built in the wall which was probably how they kept getting in. The location was so far from anything but I guess that could be a positive if you’re after a really peaceful stay 😊

The grounds of the property are beautiful! The trees, flowers and grounds are very well maintained. We stayed 6 nights in a beachfront suite with our 7 month old. We felt like we had the place to ourselves at times and a beautiful view from our room. The beach itself is nice, but consistently windy. The staff were very pleasant and our room was cleaned well and promptly.
The upkeep of the structures on the property could improve. The beach chairs are welded steel and not very comfortable. No umbrellas for the chairs and the chairs by the pool were falling apart. The pool itself could use a makeover. We didn’t use the restaurant at all as there are plenty of restaurants and a food court within 10 minutes. I would recommend getting a beachfront suite if staying here. Also rent a car to explore the island as there are many more beautiful beaches to check out!

Great location, amazing beach and pool. Good size rooms and shower. Not far from town. Totally walkable along the beach.
By accident I broke a glass. I immediately apologised for my clumsiness but was told I needed to pay for the glass! At first I was taken aback but later researched that this sometimes happens in some Thai hotels with tight margins. I agreed to pay at check out but was then harassed for the rest of the stay to pay the 150TBH including someone calling at our room at 7:30am. The whole thing left a bad vibe to an otherwise good value hotel in a great location.
