Excellent location within walking distance from the ferry. I arrived with no expectations after having read reviews, but the private room I had was actually excellent, in contrast to the rather rustic reception. Very spacious room with attached bathroom. A very comfortable bed with a really nice fluffy duvet, and the bed wasn't hard. The aircon worked fine. Towels, soap, shampoo, tissue paper, and hot shower. Everything was clean. The room also had a fridge, kettle, coffee, water bottles and some Pepsi and crisps. The food in their restaurant across the street is excellent and I got a 10% discount there. It's worth noting that you can NOT check in before 3 pm. In fact the entire area is dead until 3 pm, but at least the WiFi code is posted in the reception.
I just wish it had been a floor mat outside the bathroom, as bathrooms in Thailand are always wet rooms.
It's also the only place in Thailand who doesn't have tax included in the listed online price. It's added after you book and want to pay.
The charging outlets were a bit inconveniently placed, but not worse than I could deal with

Showers don’t really work, but still good value for money. Also no curations on the beds

Very close to pier and walking street.
Noise from bars downstairs can interrupt early sleep.
