After a long drive over night climbing a mountain for sun rise and driving down to the hotel on no sleep we slept like logs. Very comfortable accommodation, a little bit of traffic noise but nothing major. Very clean and helpful staff

I think we had the dud room, that was in the eaves. I am tall and room was totally impracticable. Shower curtain came up to my chest for example. Skirting board falling to pieces from overflow water. Bed small and uncomfortable. Check in was at a pub up the road. No designated parking as suggested on website. Room 7, definitely needs some attention

Nice little town. Very friendly staff, Rooms characterful, comfortable and clean. Road can be busy. That said a lovely stay.

Really nice stay food great good little village sorry about noise busy street picked motoring events weekend and could here music band on till late apart from that lovely place

It was nice and warm easy access to nature trails
No where to park at ty Morgan but
Car park was about 200 yards away and was cheap
No cutlery or plates if you fancy a Chinese or fish and chips
Unfortunately we didn't have a great night's sleep as we were on a main road junction and the traffic was very busy
Overall i would rate this 7 out of 10

Rooms at front of building on a very main busy through road & at 4 way junction single glassed noise is horrendous sounds like a lorry park in bedroom.
Our room was exceptionally dirty & lacked basic cleaning standards Owners monopolise village facilities as own a couple pubs, laundry & cafe plus overnight accommodation, owner manager unhelpful

We stayed at Ty Morgan for a night as a stop between visiting the red kite feed and walking in elan valley.
The guest house is well located, very clean and comfortable. Couldn't fault the guest house really.
Breakfast and coffee in the bistro below is really good.
Dinner in the crown pub (owned by the same people i think) was also really good to.
But the village it is in is so noisy, the clock tower goes off hourly even through the night, and the trucks and tractors start racing past at about 5am.

Horrendous night stay. Zero sleep due to noise from the above bedroom. The floor creaks with every move from above.
If you are looking for a peaceful night go somewhere else.

Dusty skirting boards, cobwebs, Bath tap hanging off. Bed was uncomfortable. Booked a luxury double room but given family room - staff did kindly refund the difference onto an evening meal. On a busy road so noisy during the day but OK at night. Bathroom needs and update.

Cheap and cheerful but no way is this a 4 star. Very cheap on a Monday because the Bistro downstairs is closed and keys need to be collected from a nearby pub.
Parking for a motorcycle was a small gravel area at the back shared with the bins and some discarded furniture.
I would have asked to change rooms if there’d been any staff because I could see the hourly chimes of the clock tower outside being a problem in the early hours.

The people are lovely. Though i would say the furniture is very tired in the rooms. I would recommend that they have a poster to give instructions on the door for later check-ins. The phone numbers were unanswered. Breakfast and service was very good. Overall, good value for money.

Nice rooms right in the centre of town. The shower was very powerful and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was really nice. You have to collect your keys from a pub across the road, but it's no hassle. Parking is available in a street behind the hotel a 2 minute walk away. The only downside is that the walls are very thin between the rooms! and there is a lot of traffic/lorry noise from the street in front of the hotel. If you are looking for a quiet retreat, this is probably not the hotel for you. But it is very handy for local shops (Co-Op just next door), amazing Indian restaurant down North Street, Pubs and a fish and chip shop. Overall, very nice.

Very comfortable guest house and rooms. Really like the layout, colour scheme and furniture. Generous with tea and coffee too.
Excellent breakfast which you pay extra for but was worth it.
New carpets and a keener eye by the cleaners in the bathroom would have given 5 stars.

Nice room in an historic building. Clean and good value. Pillows could be better but maybe thats down to personal choice.
Check in was easy and the breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice.

Very noisy until 4am - not hotels fault but single glass and old windows did not help. Dog friendly hotel but couldn’t eat breakfast in restaurant even though paid for dog to stay! Staff were rude and unwelcoming at breakfast. Such a lovely area, lovely hotel which needs a bit of TLC and the right owners.

Big problem with check-in. Even after taking time to pre-register check-in and arrived within the hour I specified, there was no one to let me into the hotel. No message to me about where to get the keys to my room. I was only fortunate to find a guest on the ground floor who kindly told us where to get the keys.

I have to say, staying at Ty Morgan’s was wonderful! Everything you can think of was in the room and I found it totally comfortable and the room was adequately heated! I also had a king prawn curry in their pub across the road, the Lamb & Flag!

Nice hotel in the centre of everything but due to COVID it was mostly closed. Obviously that is no fault of the hotel. I was on a bike break and it is ideally situated for this. I had road works throughout the day and night! Again not the fault of the hotel and they did communicate this to me just before I arrived and offered a full refund if I wanted to cancel, which I didn’t but it was nice to be asked. I would return to this hotel as I have visited before and when open has a lovely food and drink area.

Booked for 3 nights , informed them i was working night and was told i would not be distracted. Had service people walk into room first thing in morning. And building work on floor above. Left after second night.

Lovely village accommodation clean modern but locals very noisy till early hours . Accommodation was fine

Had to go across to a pub to get the key to the room, they were lovely people in the pub and nice food, otherwise there was no one around, room was nice

Clean and comfortable for one night. The small bathroom might be a little frustrating if you’re planning a longer stay. Also, pack earplugs if your room is on South Street as the HGV traffic can be noisy. Very welcoming however, and would stay again overnight.
