This was probably the best organized, well laid out hotel room of our trip. The room was not huge but the layout was so good that it felt spacious. Closets and drawers were great, as was overall condition and renovation of the room. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We walked to the downtown and marina which were close by. Would definitely stay here again!

Room was everything we needed. Everything we needed was easy to find or ask for. However, it was dark due to being on ground level. Only frustration was needing a wheelchair ramp offload and the building only had one.

Great room, super friendly staff, parking can be tricky if you get there late or have a full size truck. My husband was disappointed with the channel selection on the tv. They have apps but you have to have your own subscription.

If you’re going to stay in the heart of downtown Olympia this is as good as you’re going to get. The homeless population is vast there! So my biggest issue as a woman alone was that I didn’t feel safe walking to and from my car after dark. I was grateful that they lock the front door after 10pm and you need to use your key so people can’t just come in off the steet if someone steps away from the front desk. I learned this because someone essentially followed me in, or tried to. Anyways that’s an issue with the area not the hotel. The hotel was clean and comfy enough, and I felt totally safe in my room. The bed was too hard for my liking but if you like a firm bed then you’ll love it. There was a nice breakfast selection. And plenty of toiletries, as well as a full mini kitchen with dishes, salt, dish soap etc. so if you have a long stay this place would be great. The little couch and desk area was nice to have as well as the tv having streaming options in addition to cable.

For the price I paid, our room and facilities are below the Marriot standard I was used to. The carpets are horrendous!! It is dark in color but the crusty leftover dirt are easily seen with naked eye. I don’t think they pay much attention to ADA and rooms assigned to pet owners. The sofa foot rest that alternate as coffee table was full of crusty stuff that was concealed with a hard top.

We loved being able to come back and cook our own food instead of going out to eat for every meal. Will definitely stay in TownePlace suites again when we travel…the spaciousness of the rooms along with the extra amenities will be something we look forward to. Being able to bring our pets along will also be an added perk.

I liked that it was clean, the bed comfortable and the front desk helpful. I didn't like that the breakfast was removed earlier than it should have been, I didn't like that we were provided with towels for one night and no one even asked if we needed more for the second day or bothered to take out the trash. We broke a cup and I would have liked to have had a broom and dustpan to clean up the broken glass but there was none. I used a towel and brushed it all together and then put the towel over the small shards but still. Little things mean alot sometimes.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, great location. You can see by the edges of the shower that it’s not a brand new hotel, but I’m a bit of a clean freak and I felt comfortable here. Would totally stay here again.
