Booked inside but got an outside room. Place was empty and could have been given an inside room at same price. Booking was deceiving. Noise made it difficult to sleep. Tv is small, but user friendly. Feels like a cubicle with the cinder block walls.

The hotel has been beautifully restored. Our room with two queens was really big because they took a wall out to make a larger room when they renovated. The bed was excellent, very comfortable. It was very quiet and nice. Walked to a super cute breakfast spot and historic museum downtown in the morning. Loved this place!

Dirty bathroom, bathroom fan was the loudest I have ever heard. Overall dated. Lounge staff was lacking and overall just middle of the road. Wouldn’t stay here again.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The staff was amazing and so generous and helpful. The rooms are beautiful as is all of the property. We cannot wait to stay here again. Thank you to lady who checked us in and was so kind and understanding. Traveling with a group can be a challenge!

Decent hotel for what it is but the rooms are not comfortable. Very old hotel and there is no air coming into the rooms so in summer I would avoid - staff was very nice and it is a cool building it is simply old and for the same rate you can get a much more comfortable hotel. Old is cool I loved that part but it just lacks in amenities and as an example my tub backed up every time I took a shower. Anyhow overall I would avoid.

The hotel has old world charm with excellent front desk staff and very good amenities including morning coffee, an on-site bar, vending/ice machines and an elevator. The parking lot was being resurfaced while I was there but there was plenty of street parking available.

We had originally booked the Finlen Hotel two weeks in advance, but a day before our stay we were notified the Hotel was overbooked and they put us in the Motor Inn section. It was a huge disappointment for us. However the Inn was nice and clean it was not where we wanted to stay.

Historical hotel, in historical district. Stayed in the "motor inn" part. Old school place, lots of character and in walking distance of a lot of places. Sparkys Garage, great food/beverages. Brisket was fantastic. Two different trolley ride. One is historical through town. The other tales you up to "Lady of the Rockies". Both a must.

Small outdated rooms (although clean). Air cooling unit was extremely loud. Although they list a lounge, the server wouldn’t serve us (private party). A positive… they had a plug available to use own ev charging cord.

lots of style points for being a retro motel but very poor room design, old worn out furnishings, threadbare towels, and a loud sad window air unit that sucked in smoke from the outdoor smoking area. Didn't get much sleep, and even though the people were friendly and the Cavalier Room bar was great, we won't be back

Didn’t realize when I booked we were in the motel part and not the main building. Thought that should’ve been made more clear. Inside reminded me of a jail cell type atmosphere but it was clean. Thin walls for sure and a very tight parking lot for larger cars.

Staff needs retraining on ADA policy. Per the ADA: In situations where it is not obvious that the dog is a service animal, staff may ask only two specific questions: (1) is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? and (2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform? Staff are not allowed to request any documentation for the dog, require that the dog demonstrate its task, or inquire about the nature of the person’s disability. I was asked for paperwork, when I informed the person working the front desk that that’s not a thing, she assured me it was and that they had looked it up, I admittedly was curt (and apologized for that) as someone with a disability this is exhausting to deal with. I actually had planned to have a few drinks and dinner in the restaurant, but felt unwelcome enough I just went to my room. https://www.ada.gov/resources/service-animals-faqs/

Our check-in was a surprise. We came in the side door, which was average but then when we entered the main building, we were floored...the hotel is gorgeous. The owner has beautifully preserved the hotel and the lady that checked us in volunteered to show us more, which I appreciated. We stayed in the "motor inn" part of the hotel. Although it was old, it was probably the cleanest "old" hotel I've been in. Beds were very comfortable.

Should be charged with misleading advertising. "Coolest retro mid century motel" Actually means run-down in need of total rebuild. Make matters worse pipes rumbled lourly when other rooms used bathroom making sleep impossible. When compained itwas ignored.

Disappointing. The TV did not work. The lights above the bed do not move out of the way - very easy to bump your head. Room in the motor inn part was clean but very minimal.

Cute hotel. Yes, it is old but adorable. Great view of the little town, close/walking distance to bars, restaurants and Axe throwing. Not the hotels fault, but almost have the store we wanted to go to were closed, and you can hear people on the streets and in the hallway. Bed was comfortable, staff was very friendly as well. We didnt stop by the hotel lounge, but it looked inviting.
