We stayed only one night because we were traveling around the zone. Everything was good with the hotel. People working there was very nice. Very clean,safe and the neighborhood is good. Around the hotel you have coffee shop,supermarket,liquor store and some more good places.

Staff was friendly, the room was clean, but very tiny. There was hardly room to walk between the bed and TV or the table and the wall to the bathroom. It was a reasonable price and a place to sleep.

Bathroom towels were yellow still looked dirty. There was dirt on the shelf in the bathroom above the sink. We would not even shower because of the condition of the bathroom. There was toilet paper in the toilet and food still in the frig from previous guest. The room had a very musty smell. Only positive was staff was very friendly.

I understand you pay for you get but even 100 dollars was too much for this nasty place. I saw a review that said vintage, yeah nothing vintage about this place, this place needs to be torn down and rebuilt. There was absolutely nothing nice about this property. There were stains EVERYWHERE, walls, carpet, ceiling. This place smelled like the 70's. Every ligh fixture ONLY had one light working. The fridge was so noisy, it sounded like it was barely making it. And the smell was disgusting, very old. Bed sheets had stains, blanket had cigarette burns, AC was noisy but you had to keep it running because the smell was horrible. The bathroom towels were so thin, like they haven't been changed out since the 80's and dingy. But the most horrible thing about thia property was definitely Cherise or however you spell her name. She was so rude, kept talking over me when i was on the phone with her and then she threatened to cancel my room the afternoon before i arrived. Had i known this motel was this nasty, i would have canceled it myself. I will never stay here if i ever come through this area again. Pictures are deceiving on the website. I have the real pictures of everything i mentioned GO ELSEWHERE, YOUR CAR IS BETTER

The exterior was very run down. The room recently remodeled and decent with flooring and furniture, but the bathroom door kept jamming, the toilet was problematic, microwave was inoperable, shower fixtures falling out of wall, no in-room shampoo, coffee or hairdryer. Looked ok in photos, but surprise!!! Not recommended.

The hotel has charm and a great location. The man who checked us in was genuinely friendly. I left the check in with a smile on my face! The place had very comfortable beds and was super clean. It was a bit dated but I’ll happily take that for a clean room, comfy bed and a super price. Would definitely stay again and recommend. Thanks!

The room was BIG and actually a kitchenette which was unexpected but enjoyed. Everything was quite clean. Kitchenette had new equipment. Bathroom was a little worn and I wish it had a hair dryer.

I enjoyed my stay at Budget Inn in Durango. It is in a good location close to the tour company that I was using, room are very basic, but clean, plenty of hot water, safe, and John was pleasant and very helpful. It is right across the street from a nice grocery store and pharmacy. The trolley line stop is very close and provides service to downtown Durango every 20 minutes. I'd stay her again--also the price was much, much less expensive than most of the other places that I looked at.

Check in went quickly and without any hitches. I was in a two room suite with 3 queen beds even though I was flying solo. The front room was dark with only a broken light, So I took up residence in the back room, which was fine. The facility is old and looks it - every thing is old including the carpets, towels, fixtures, etc etc. validates the old adage - you get what you pay for. No screens on the windows, so opening them was not an option. Having said all that, the place was booked solid, so business must be good.

The place was crawling with little black beetles and when we complained to the front desk they said the whole tomn was infested and that there was nothing they could do about it. Avoid this property.

We stayed in on of the kitchen suites which was an overall great stay, with a few criticisms. There were very few cooking utensils, and we were only provided one fork, so we ended up buying a spatula, which we contributed to the room, and we use an extra plastic forks from when we ate out one night. There was a small coffee maker but no coffee or filters so we bought our own and left them there for the next guests. The biggest complaint we had was the towels, which were old and needed to be replaced, it felt like drying off with sandpaper and would not cost much for the hotel to replace them. Only deducted one star because it was an otherwise great room, it just could have been stocked a bit better and the towels were not great. That said, it was a great stay for the price.

Dirty towels and sheets. Dirty floor. No shampoo. One tiny bar of soap. Dead bugs throughout room. Room smelled a bit like smoke or something chemical. For the price all I expected was clean but this room was foul.

The building is old but the rooms are super clean and the beds are super comfortable. The man at the front desk is very nice. He is on top of things. He knew who i was before i gave him my info! I will definitely stay there every time im in Durango.

First rooms A/C wasn’t working, after front staff and manager checked they they graciously moved us to another room with a working unit. Overall staff was friendly, rooms seemed decently cleaned, small bugs in both rooms only near windows. Wasn’t bad for the price

Disgusting. Black mold in bathroom, cracked tub and poop in the toilet. Linens on the bed were filthy. Smelled like cigarette butts. Avoid at all costs.

I guess I got what I paid for. Ok if your literally looking for 4 walls and a bed. Towels and bed linens had definitely seen their better days and are in need of replacement. Very small room. Nearly impossible for two people to move around the room at the same time.
