This was our second stay. Clean rooms, GREAT internet speeds, covered parking. Never got a chance for breakfast both times-7:30 dr appt downtown.

Walked into the room and there was urine stains all over the floor. We could not walk into the room without the smell making us nauseous. We were told we could have spray to overpower the smell but when I said it was unsanitary he said there’s nothing he could do. He moved our family of 5 to a small room with one bed and offered no other options. It was terrible, our 15 and 12 year old slept on the floor due to the pull out only being big enough for our 6 year old.

The property wav very clean. The room was small, but clean and neat. The sofa had some spots on it that show up. Overall the property was in good shape. I will back again next Christmas. The price is nice.

Overall, the property seemed a bit "tired." The couch in the first room we had was very stained, so we went and requested a new one, which was cheerfully given to us. They said they are expecting to replace all the couches on the property, but that only a few had been replaced so far.Breakfast was quite good and the woman working there was charming!

My family and I were preparing to go on a cruise and stayed at this hotel overnight because it is close to the port. Overall the stay was awesome other than the breakfast hostess kept telling us that breakfast was over while we were conversing at the table. We were excited about the pending cruise and yes we were sitting there in the breakfast area but we were no longer eating and had cleaned up our space. Even still she came to our table 3 times, almost stifling our excitement.

A two and a half month early, prepaid reservation and turned to a handicap room with the bathroom where the shower water ends up all over the floor. Not willing to change to a regular room. The receptionist was not willing to change.

We stayed here for a 2 night visit. We wanted more affordable lodging than was available in Charleston. It’s a short drive across the bridge to downtown. There are restaurants nearby but nothing in walking distance. This property is not as pristine or well-maintained as some other SpringHill suites but was fine for 2 nights. Breakfast was okay but they do offer evening bar service some evenings which was convenient.

This hotel was very nice, the room set up was fantastic, a separate desk & sitting area from the bed and the bathroom was awesome, very large! And not that we needed it, but a walk-in closet to store your personal items. Nice complimentary breakfast every a.m. too. The ONLY thing I didn't care for was the entrance to this particular hotel, a bit confusing. You entered it through the parking garage (that was a bonus), and you had to take the elevator up to 2nd floor to the lobby/check-in area. The employees were very friendly, but the thought of anyone being able to access the building and elevators 24 hours a day, I didn't care for.

Lovely hotel,was clean apart from a couple of marks on hall carpet. Check in was fast, room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was large. Breakfast was good. Parking was easy even has some undercover spaces. Very easy access to Patriots Point and easy to drive into Charleston historic area.

We were traveling with our pets and paid a nonrefundable $150 pet deposit, which was fine, but when we went into our room, it had a very foul odor of pet urine with urine stains on the couch. Very disappointing when they ask you to pay the deposit, but don't disinfect the room properly from the previous guest.

We were amazed at the quiet & cleanliness of this property & will definitely recommend to family & friends. Location! Location! This is our first stay at Springhill Suites & we will be back. This is a keeper! My husband is a Vet & had an appt. at the VA, couldn’t have been any better location. We cant wait to try breakfast this morning!! Thanks to management for a relaxing & enjoyable stay!

There was a lot of construction on the road to navigate around, but otherwise pretty convenient. It is not as quick and easy a ride into main part of Charleston as I had thought. Its good if you are visiting the USS Yorktown, but definitely stay closer to downtown area if you are staying to check out the sights of the city.

Not super dirty but not really squeaky clean. Noisy and the elevator sounds like ducks are quacking. Hard to regulate the temperature in the rooms. Pull out beds/couches leave a lot to be desired. There were no linens for those in the closet upon arrival.

The front desk mentioned house keeping would be every other day but if you would like towels just call us. I called and they refused to give towels and there was no house keeping for 3 days. There were people smoking something in the elevators so it smelled like that. No lights in the closet in the room we had. Very inconvenient.
