Well, I got a room for my elderly parents so they don’t have to drive back hours after a friends funeral. My Mom told me that their hot water was not working the night of their stay. My Dad loves his hot baths before bedtime, but no go. As of this morning, still not working. Ugh! For $200 a night you’d expect better. They are nice people I am sure and a local place, so hope they comp my parents. A nice getaway for them turned cold, no pun intended.

Great place to stay in town of Leland. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable. Attentive staff makes sure your visit is enjoyable and meets your expectations. On site restaurant Bogeys Grille has an excellent kitchen with a varied menu. Overall a great experience

This was a last minute booking for us and didn't have time to do our research. This is an amazing lodge. It is small and quaint. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. Very clean. It is a short walk to Fishtown and is off the main street. Our king room had 2 murphy beds for children. I would HIGHLY recommend to couples and even families.

This was a bucket list stay. I have always wanted to stay at your hotel. I went to sumer camp when I was young in the area and always wanted to stay and play golf. The golf didn't work out maybe next time.

It was wonderful. Nice large clean room. Great comfortable bed. Very quiet. Walking distance to Fishtown. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Best part is the cookies waiting for you in your room!!!!

The Leland Lodge offers a lovely comfortable stay with much attention to the small details that make a difference. You are given free cookies and water when you check in and there is a refrigerator with free water, soda and yogurt for guests as well as free muffins and coffee during the breakfast hours. The beds were very comfortable, the AC worked extremely well and it was nice to have a small refrigerator and microwave in the room. If you need a ride to town instead of walking the 2-3 short blocks, the hotel staff will kindly give you a ride in their golf cart. There are bikes to be borrowed, you can walk to a couple of beaches and there is a lovely view of the surrounding golf greens from the hotel. This is the kind of hotel you return to year after year.

Such a cute little lodge. Great start to our trip to the UP. We enjoyed sitting out side in the evening overlooking the golf course enjoying a bourbon from the bar. Great coffee in the morning and fresh blueberry muffins. And I may never forget the cookies!! Such a great place.

Nice, quiet, and clean lodge in a convenient location. Has a great restaurant and very friendly staff. We only got to stay for one night since trip was so last minute, but we hope to stay again in the future.

We wanted to stay near some of the wineries that Northern Michigan has to offer. The Leeland Lodge was highly over priced for the room and view we were offered. The room was full of Fruit Flies, hotel staff was gone at 8 pm, and someone left the music speakers on from the bar until after midnight. The bar closed at 9 pm.

The property is close to 100 years old and has a rich history. It has 18 rooms and 3 cottages and sits on a golf course. The restaurant is good. Our room was clean and comfortable with a love seat sitting area. I thought the room was overpriced but there are not many options on the Leelanau Peninsula so.....At those prices they should include breakfast. I paid more for that room than I did a hotel in NYC a couple days later. That is my only complaint though....but next time I'm going to try the Sunset Lodge in Omena.

Expensive, not much staff. Thin walls! Room is freshened up only upon request in the month of August. We weren’t told this at check in and found our room untouched when we returned. Overall great location and pleasant staff.

Loved the old lodge feel. Nice room. Downfall, old building with no elevator. All rooms on 2nd floor. Extra length stairs tough on old people. If you can't add an elevator, then bell hop assist should be available. If our adult daughter had not been with us to help, I doubt we could have stayed. Lovely on site restaurant.
