Room was amazing. Comfortable bed and plenty of room to move around. Didn’t love the breakfast buffet. Bacon was hard and almost inedible, pancake mix was empty with no one around to refill it. No bread for toast, fruit was aged and I think I offended a woman who was looking in cabinets. I thought she worked there and asked if they would refill the coffee cups. She did not work there and didn’t look amused I’d assume she did. Go for the room but forego the breakfast if you’re hungry.

No coffee stirrer for in room. Tv remote required precise positions. Paid through Expedia and told everything was taken care of on checkout so didn't think to get a receipt. Later found charged additional $25.00.

The first thing I noticed was that they have ample parking. I really like my car and do not like parking near anyone. Check in was easy and the staff was nice. Upon entering the room I was surprised at how big it was! We got a king bed and there was also a chaise lounge. The room had a lot of storage so if you needed to stay for several nights or a week, it would be easy to unpack. Everything was clean. I always do a thorough check before bringing my luggage in. The next nice surprise was the bathroom! Hands down the nicest bathroom I have seen in a 2-3 star hotel. I don't know if all of the room have a sliding glass door in the bathroom. I noticed that the pictures of the location don't include a shower picture so maybe all of the rooms are not updated. This bathroom was very nice and spacious as well. There was no fan, but it did not get steamy when using the shower. There seemed to be low occupancy that nights so I only heard someone outside of the room one time. There was a downside.... We were in 332 which is the end near the road. Road traffic was very loud. Thankfully I came prepared for noise. I am a very light sleeper (my husband is not) and that could have easily ruined my stay. I do wonder how quiet the odd number rooms are that are closer to the parking lot. Also, if you are taller than 6 feet, the king size bed seems short. My husband's feet hung over. Overall, very happy with our stay. I have always had good luck at the remodeled Holiday Inn Express.

Staff was professional and very attentive. Carpet in the room looked clean, however, after walking in the room for a period of time I got into the shower and saw dirty spots on the bottom of the shower where my feet initially touched the stall floor. My conclusion is that the carpet had dirt imbedded in it and that dirt was transferred to my feet while walking around barefoot in the room. My wife made the same observation when she used the shower. FYI we stayed in Room 429.

We enjoyed our stay. The woman who checked us in was friendly and recommended a wonderful restaurant when we asked about local restaurants. The room was clean and the breakfast in the morning was great!

On the way home .. .HI Express always a good stop. Room was superb. Food was superb (breakfast). Whoever does the coffee should get a medal. Elizabeth at front desk was very professional -- guests appreciate that.

The complimentary breakfast was good. Lots of choices and hot and ready. We visit Marietta a couple times a year because we have siblings who live there. Each time we visit, we stay at your hotel. This time, we had only small issues. The stopper in the bathroom sink was broken - it stayed on closed and you could not raise it. On our first night, we mentioned it to the desk when we went out. She thanked us for bringing it to her attention. We were there 3 days - gone all day each day & the sink was never looked at. We just removed it from the sink & set it aside so the water would drain. The remote needed a battery so you could change channels, etc. I realize that is a small thing and something housekeeping would probably not check. We will stay at the same hotel again. The issues were small and didn't cause us problems.

The room had things we have never seen in hotels. A long bench to put all your bags on. A shelf outside the bathroom with a mirrir and an outlet . So i can do hair, makeup while husband is showering. Always had to hunt for an outlet and would never be bear a mirror. Breakfast was wonderful. Full breakfast.

The HVAC needs attention in several rooms, does not work properly and is noisy. I switched rooms twice to find one that worked properly.

My first stay in a Holiday Inn (Express) in many many years was excellent. The beds were very comfortable. Each bed had 2 firm and 2 soft pillows, labeled in embroidery on the cases. I always travel with my own pillow, but in this case, I put mine aside and used theirs. They were perfect! For me to like a hotel bed and pillows is amazing. (Just ask my husband! Lol) To complement the comfy bed, the blackout blinds were phenomenal! I woke up at 8am, but thought it was still middle of the night because it was so dark in the room. I would definitely stay here again.

The person checking us in didn’t greet us or say more than a few words to us. Nothing about breakfast or the Wi-Fi password , friendliness was lacking by all the staff. Breakfast the 2nd day was bare minimum. Since they don’t check the rooms because of Covid which mandates are already lifted, we had to ask for towels. There are only 2 towels provided in a room for 4 people.

We stayed for 6 nights and felt very comfortable and welcome the entire time. The staff went above and beyond for us. Breakfast was exceptional and the attendant made sure everything was just right every day.

Generic Holiday Inn Express. We always try to stay at a HIE because we know what to expect from it. I don't like the new cancelation policy of charging 9$ to cancel a reservation.
