We wanted a cost-effective place to stay the night as our ferry arrived late in Liepaja. We found parking right behind the hotel, front desk was manned by an English-speaking young lady, so check-in was fuss-free. The family room was very large, generally clean, but well-worn (furniture had chips off the edges, some scratches on wall, etc). Walls were thin - we could hear people moving in the corridors for their early check-outs. Also the elevator broke down when we wanted to check-out, so we had to carry the luggage down by ourselves.

The 2 bedroom (1 double 1 twin) family rooms are great with lovely big windows but have no air conditioning or fans so rooms heat up like an oven.
Children’s ‘play room’ was disappointing.
Hotel had cafe restaurant but not open in evening.
Overall, ok accommodation for large family on a budget who plan to use hotel for showering and sleeping only.
