The property is an traditional Berber house that is very tastefully renovated.we stayed in the cave room which was a unique experience, and had all the amenities. I Patrick and Sabine are wonderful hosts.The price includes dinner in addition to breakfast. The dinner was the best I had in Tunisia.They offer a wide selection of Tunisian wines and other liquor. Overall, this is one of the best experience I have had not only in Tunisia.

It was a very comfortable and beautiful hotel. It was a night I will remember for a lifetime, and I sincerely thank you for the unforgettable meal.
However, it is a bit difficult to find using Google Maps, and there are no other facilities around the hotel.

Le Aubergue de Tamezret is more than Unique , It is a whole experience in life . Located on an interesting small town of Tamezret , close to the famous Matmata . It is a must night stay on your trip to Matmata , who is famous for the Barbere’s underground and caves like homes.
Patrick the Owner of the Aubergue is the perfect host . Full of details and very helpfull when you needed . An amazing person who loves to entretaing . The Dinner meals are not to miss , Delicious and Gourmet ,cooked by Savina ,Patrick’ wife . Served on a cave Dinning room in a table set full of details and great taste .
And the rooms ; Comfortable , quite and very peculear in a beautifull way.
We Will keep Le Aubergue de Tamerzret in our life as a place we will not forget .

A unique location with unique accommodations, serving delicious gourmet meals prepared by amazing hosts, Patrick and Sabrina. A must stay if you are ever visiting southern Tunisia.
