The facility was old but clean.
The swimming pool was nice and we also enjoyed the variety of food for dinner.
Unfortunately there was one rude gentleman at the reception. It would have been better if they were more punctual in opening hours.

The hotel is beautiful, well maintained, and very peaceful. The architecture and interior design are impressive, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff are extremely friendly and professional. The location is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the unique atmosphere of Douz. The food was delicious with good variety, and overall the service exceeded expectations.
Honestly, there was very little to dislike. Everything was well organized and comfortable. Any minor issues were quickly handled by the staff, who were always willing to help.

AC and wifi worked well. Pool area nice. Parking very secure. Close to the starting point for many quad bike and camel rides. Beds comfortable. Staff friendly.
This is basically a hotel catering to large tour groups. As a family traveling alone, it was really not a great experience. The dining room felt like a messhall- tables were crammed together, it was loud and there were long lines for the buffet. Definitely an „eat and run“ atmosphere. We were at a few hotels on this trip and the dinner was the most expensive at TND 50-57 pp for nothing very special. Because they tend to have groups that only stay one night, you can’t charge anything to your room. Dinner, drinks at the pool, etc. all have to be paid immediately.
The rooms themselves need serious renovations. Ours had an old carpet, hallway light needing repairs, missing toilet paper holder, a barely functioning fridge, and no outlets near the bed. They allow smoking in the rooms, so they do smell a bit. No drinking water provided (despite clear signs saying the tap water is not drinkable), you had to pay TND 4 for a bottle.
Overall, fine for one night. Sadly, we stayed two nights.
