Very satisfied with our 5 night stay at New Dawn. Congenial, helpful, professional staff providing a high level of hospitality. On site dinning is reasonably priced and worthwhile. Convenient downtown location. We will select New Dawn again.

Booked the executive room , it had kettle but no coffee or tea or biscuit sachets . Wardrobe door jammed so could not access deposit safe . Reception changed the room and new room had no wardrobe doors so at least you could access safe . Towel rail in shower very rusty . Ran out of toilet roll no spare roll. Second day room cleaned again no drink sachets just the kettle and 2 water bottles . However we bought our own . Another issue is hotels.com do not offer a breakfast option at this hotel but others booking in got breakfast . Why is the option not available . This is my second stay here this year but standards have dropped so I will not visit again . Bed was comfy but after a long journey i expected to be able to relax with a coffee and we even visited the restaurant but staff could not serve us before 5pm however we went behind hotel to a really nice tuna restaurant .

Very nice hotel. Just a word of warning, don't take a room on the 19th floor if you go to bed early. Bar on 20th with music until midnight. Definitely would stay again.

for 3 people in room they only put 2 on everything towels, glass cups amenities ,no coffee .we asked front desk the day we checked in ,it never been delivered, 2 of us has to share towel. The floor was dirty white socks & feet ( barefoot) in room turned black,shower floor was slippery.Staff were nice

The hotel is modest and it appears to be set for Philippines standards and not western, my bathroom was dirty on arrival I asked for it to be cleaned 3 times in as many days and they seemed reluctant to bring it up to par, they did provide bottled water daily and eventually provided adequate toiletries like toothbrush, shampoo and soap, on a positive note the internet works well but parking is difficult to find, they were kind and let me park my rental car in the underground parking, if it was clean when I arrived it would have received a favorable review. I stayed 8 nights.

Don’t book room in this hotel!. I booked 3 rooms for this hotel for 3 consecutive nights for my relatives. Their experience were horrible . Apparently the staff there are so lazy to answer the front desk phone, no towels and toilet paper in the room. Front desk will ignore your call , so you really have to bring your ass down the building to get whatever you need . So what if there is an emergency going on with the guest and the only mean of help is thru the phone ? That is negligence! Breakfast was supposed to be included in the room , they will promised you that they will pack it for you to go if you need to leave early , but nothing was there when it’s time for you to leave. Reason for me to book the superior room is because of the convenience of the breakfast meal .

No valet parking. First come first serve when it comes to parking, even when you make a reservation prior to your check-in. However, the room is fairly clean and spacious. It's an old hotel so expect rusts and cracks. Good thing we didn't find any moulds. Free breakfast is always a plus. Bring your own toiletries because the hotel does not have shampoo and conditioner available for guests, only a few small bars of soap. There's a couple of bottled waters in the room but no confectionery in the fridge, which we didn't mind. We had a good stay at the hotel. Not bad.

THE ROOM WAS VERY OUTDATED! FOR THE PRICE WE PAID WE WERE EXPECTING A LOT MORE!! THE BUFFET DID NOT HAVE MUCH VARIETY & THE EGGS WERE COLD. IT TOOK A LONG TIME TO GET SOME BREAD! ON THE OTHER HAND THE COFFEE WAS GREAT!

Wonderful hotel in a great shape with a modern design. Breakfast was amazing! Staff so on the ball they took care of us all like family. We had 2 rooms with our party of 6. For sure will stay here again when in the city.

I like New Dawn hotel They really take care of their customers. I wanted to move to a higher room and it was handled easily and quickly. I always stay at New Dawn when visiting CDO city!

The check in service was fast and the rooms were nice although they do have signs of aging. But overall good experience. They’re breakfast was really good. The dining area was nice and they had pleasant music. They had a good selection of food to choose from. I would stay there again.

Sheets were still damp when they were put on the bed, asked for extra towels in the booking and didn't get. Building was very nice and sturdy since we got to experience a minor earthquake and there was no damage. The staff was very nice, and the room was very comfortable.
