I have never stayed in a hostel before, but this was a great base located centrally in Reykjavik. Lots of great coffee shops, tattoo shops and bars/restaurants nearby. You can get breakfast and coffee at KEX, too, which was convenient for one of the mornings we had to head out early. The bus stops for excursions were also within a 10-minute walk away. Overall, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I really enjoyed my time at this Hostel!
I recommend this location, and establishment for any solo travellers on a budget looking for a perfect place to stay — close to city centre, walks along the coast, and lots of historical sights around! The staff were very nice and attentive.
