Bayeux is a beautiful little town and the perfect location for visiting the Normandy Beaches. The B&B hosts were very helpful pointing out special sites and good restaurants. The house is almost suburban with a lawn and nice garden just outside of the old town. It is fairly close to the town, but it is easier to drive, find a parking spot and then wander. That may be harder to do in the high season.
The upstairs room was more than adequate with a comfortable bed and television. We had a private shower room and a shared toilet just down the hall. The continental breakfast was very nice and almost too plentiful! Very enjoyable stay.
