Location!
One flight of stairs with luggage was difficult. No one to assist us.

The room was beautiful and in the best location

Location was perfect. The loft in room was very useful for us so we could have 2 separate beds. The room was clean and comfortable.
There was nothing I did not like.

The host was brilliant. 10/10 for the host. Best part about the property. The property also has an elevator. I say the location was one of the negatives, but for different reasons than why I liked it. I loved being so close to the piazza della repubblica. Such a fun area with great food options and so much music and entertainment, I loved that. The property is also close to a lot of beautiful attractions and two blocks from the duomo. Overall, the location was pretty great during the day. But it was just so noisy when trying to sleep.
The bed was very uncomfortable- I recommend flipping the mattress. The room was VERY loud. Because the location is a very busy/high traffic noisy location. Not something that can be fixed, but it was a little annoying. I only got one coffee packet/sachet per day - I had to ask for a few more and was initially told no, I actually had to ask the host to bring me a few more (not his job) but then housekeeping didn’t replenish the coffee OR the tea for the rest of my stay, so that was even more annoying than I can write here. The bathroom was small, even for a solo female traveller. And my fridge didn’t work- which I didn’t realise until the next day- sadly I had to throw away $250 worth of medication as it went bad. They replaced the fridge but it was already too late. So that was a big shame. Lucky these were my last few nights after 5 weeks in Italy.
