The area was super dirty, couldn’t even sleep. The bed was broken in half. The lady was nowhere to be found for check out and check in. People were banging on the door at 3 AM. Room smell like old smoke Shower was dirty alarm system kept going off in the middle of the night I really felt like I was in the hood wi-Fi didn’t even work or connect to my computer brown spots on the sheets that they gave us the vending machine was broken. Ice machine was out of order. The key didn’t even work for the right door. people living in the area or I should say at the actual hotel. Almost got bit by a dog. There’s like dirty feces stains on the toilet. There was a leftover booger on the on the pillow. It was a terrible stay, and I was with my girlfriend, celebrating your anniversary. I might not have a girlfriend after this trip.

Normally, I don’t write anything bad about the paces I stayed, but this one deserves special attention. The mattresses were so hard that I woke up in pain few times during my one night stay. If you want to have a rest on your trip, that’s not the place I would recommend to stay.

The room was lovely- ish. They are in the middle of construction. The room need some help in terms of proper painting and drywall in bathroom. The outside property is a little unkempt. The place has tremendous potential, but some kinks must be worked out. I would still stay there again. I want to see the owners progress of transformation:)

The rooms were dirty. One had dog pee on the floors so we switched rooms the next room didn’t have a working AC and smelled like cigarettes and was dirty so the third room we stayed in because I was tired of moving rooms but the bed sheets had dog hair all over them. They made us change our own bedding. It only had one outlet and couldn’t plug I. The TV and refrigerator at the same time The TV didn’t work so that solved the outlet problem.

Upon arrival at 6:30pm the room was not ready or a 3pm check in and was under sloppy construction till 8:30. They were installing curtain rods, slapping on paint, and poorly sweeping the debris. This was a last minute booking and low cost so I partially knew i was in for something. It made me feel uneasy to the point that every time I left I took my valuables with me. There are several 'guests' that seem to be milling around eyeing you up as you come and go which all seem to be recovering or current meth addicts. - the door had pry marks on it - the cabinets doors fell off - moldy smell - dollar store towels - sheet stains - sloppy paint job ... seemed very 'methy'

Total stink! Nothing works, there are not enough sheets on the bed, dirt, all the paint is peeling everywhere, cracks. There is no trash can. All buildings are best completely demolished and new ones built. Complete poverty and misery. It's obvious that the owners don't care about you. The cleaning lady constantly smokes, so the rooms stink of tobacco, although the website of the "hotel" says smoke free. Felt-tip pen writing on the wall. This is not a place to stay!

Whoever owned the property beforehand should be ashamed of the way they left it. Everyone we talked to was so kind and friendly and you can tell they are doing their best to get things together and make it a beautiful little lodge. Our mini fridge didn’t work and they replaced it with a working one almost immediately

penn lodge was chill. staff is nice and helpful. noisy at night, quiet otherwise. rly close to shops and restaraunts if u cut thru the back; rly close to train if u exit thru the front. friendly cat lives there.

First, the staff couldn't be more pleasent or attentive. They really do encourage feedback, and try their best to accomdate you. Stayed in a newly rennovated room, clean and comfortable. Suggestions: a dresser to put our clothes in, hooks to hang coats. Overall, it's clean, well managed and conveniently located. We're planning a third stay because it's conveniently located to the fiance's family, and it offers all the space and comfort we want. And a special shout out to JC who does everything he can to make our stays comfortable!

Good thing was cable tv. The Bad room needed a good scrubbing. Floors were grimmy. Walls were dirty shower was a mess. Paint in shower was chipping away baseboards were brown. Its a good flop spot thats it. No coffee maker in room.
