You will be required to pay for a background check, which they won't tell you about until after you've booked (even with the non-refundable rates). Most hotels will tell you the daily parking rate, they did not, which was $50/day. If you go one block away there is public parking that's cheaper. Also, the TV doesn't have any channels, it's meant for you to sign in to your streaming services. Also there was a very loud/low hum that you could hear/feel from my room that was a little obnoxious. They didn't tell me where the pool was, and the gym says it's for residents only. The room itself was great though, very clean and spacious.

My stay at Mint House was amazing. The staff went above and beyond and the facilities were top notch. Walking distance to restaurants, Coors Field, night life, etc. loved my stay. The only issue was cleanliness - my apartment had not been vacuumed as there was hair all over the bathroom floor when I entered. Otherwise everything was great. Love the amenities and location. Would definitely stay again.

It was alluded that the parking was free. It wasn't. It wasn't cheap either. The room was nice, but I could not get the place to warm up no matter how high I turned up the thermostat. Usage of the elevators was not intuitive. I like security, but they need to explain the usage better.

The apt was nice its just what i wanted. Booking again.

Great location! Excellent! Will stay again in a future.

Nice place. No reception.
Fine view from 9th floor.
Close to Union Station.
Excellent japanese bbq across the street

Key pick up and drop off was a royal pain with the elevator system. Confusing as the directions from Mint don’t explain well enough the process.

Our stay was really great. We came up for one night to watch a nuggets game. The apartment was spacious and the view was wonderful.

Floors and counters dirty. Only beds were made. Had to call to get in, as guard was not at station to let us in the elevator. Then had to call again, since there was no toilet paper in the room. They "don't staff anyone there" and offered to let us into another unit to take their toilet paper. Place had potential, but is terribly managed. I would look elsewhere.

We loved the location of this property. Great access to nearby shopping including Whole Foods across the street. Perfect for a night out on the town with Coors Field and Ball Arena within walking distance. Hope to stay here again!

Great location and is super clean. Really cute rooms and super spacious.

Worst customer service I have EVER had. Based on a system glitch it took 3 hours to check in because there is no one at desk after 5pm. Tried to get money back but they wouldn’t budge. Didn’t have sheets for pull out bed, had to call and wait on hold again. Finally upgraded our room instead but I will never stay there again. Didn’t get settled into room until about 11pm. They need 24hr person at desk. Was supposed to be relaxing weekend away for husband birthday and was nothing but a nightmare. Then no coffee in room, coffee machine in lobby not working. No sense of customer service or urgency with anything. Oh and staff tried to come in our room in am but luckily the safety lock was on.

Just an overnight stay during construction / water work.
Very nice clean and close to home.

Our 2 bedroom unit was fantastic! Clean and extremely comfortable! The kitchen was stocked with basics and the beds and linens were comfortable. Perfect location and amenities for a getaway with friends!

Incredible location, building, and amenities. Pool was closed for maintenance, but it's the middle of winter so that makes sense. The room, view, and decor were super cool as was the price. Cleanliness was mostly good, though there was a dirty washcloth stuffed above the dryer. Granola bars were a nice and appreciated touch; coffee was gross but maybe just needed creamer or milk.

Needs to better inform customers that this hotel is located in a residential building complex and parking is not included. Any other hotels come with parking. Elevator needs key fob to work, but you have to leave your key fob in the apartment. So you have to go to the lobby and walk up through the whole parking lot. And thats only because i happened to grab my parking lot pass because i thought that had to be left in room. Lucky i did or i wouldnt have been able to get my car and i would have been stuck at the lobby

The Mint House had so many cool amenities. I really wish we were staying for more than just one night.
The bed was super comfy too.
Would definitely book again next time I’m back in Denver hopefully for longer. Location was in walking distance of many fun things.

This was our first time staying at Mint Hotel and we had the best experience. Communication and check in was top notch and the accommodations were precisely cleaned and absolutely perfect! We would highly recommend choosing Mint Hotel for your next visit to Denver.

Mint House was a good alternative to a traditional hotel. The apartment was very modern and comfortable. I would definitely stay again. Here are my pros and cons:
PROS
Location was perfect! Lots of walkable stores and restaurants, with Whole Foods right across the street. Union Station was maybe 2 blocks away and we took the Amtrack up to the snow with no issues.
Check in and out was very simple. I saw a few prior reviews that had some issues but the instructions were detailed and clear, and a security guard was always in the lobby to assist.
Since it was below zero on my trip i was VERY appreciative that the hot water in the unit was HOT HOT. The heater worked well and kept the apartment nice and toasty.
CONS
My biggest issue was the cleanliness of the unit. I'm not normally nit picky and at first glance the common space was great. Until i went into the master bed and bath. The carpet was filthy with hair and random things stuck in it. Some of the bathroom towels were dingy. I also found a few hairs on the comforter so i slept on the other side. It looked like the unit was "picked up" in terms of making the bed and folding the towels but not actually cleaned. Luckily I had a few clean towels to work with but I refused to vacuum that carpet or pick up anyone's hairs.
Supplies were also limited in terms of toilet paper and paper towels. There were not new rolls of either and I had a 4 day stay, so we ran out after about 2 days.
No tvs in bedrooms

Wonderful downtown suite; perfect for a weekend getaway! Great downtown access and walking distance to all my immediate needs/amenities. The unit was exactly as described, clean and great customer services for all your needs. Great size space, wonderful amenities (washer/dryer, full kitchen/etc.) and even a great gym to use. Will definitely stay again on my next jaunt through Denver!

The apartment is decent, but the walls are thin, and Union Station is quite loud at night. In addition, $50 per night for parking is ridiculous.

The unit was actually pretty cool, however, we purchased a 2 bedroom because we were traveling as a family and 3 hrs before check in we got a message telling us it was no longer available via text, when we stated we were notnok with that they told us we could take what they had which was two single rooms or get a refund, to find a 2 bedroom anything over holiday break would have been impossible so we took the two singles. The management team at the site were lovely and very accomodating however they did not work for Mint, Mint is 100% off site (likely NY or somewhere), we tried to check in but they sent our room number but no code. Called the number provided, ling wait time, an hour later someone called me back. They were responsive by text, usually 20 to 30 mins on response. Like I stated the room was pretty cool, however the floor in room 821 had hair balls, the counters were dirty and there were crumbs everywhere. Our unit was in better condition, or so we thought, the water did not drain in the bathtub when taking a shower, and the mattress pad was very dirty, did not look like it had been washed when the prior people checked out. The location was amazing, again the room has the potential to be incredible, just not quite ready for prime time

I stayed here with some friends while in Denver and we had a great time! It was a perfect walking distance from the Ball Arena, where the Nuggets play. Overall, this place is great and I would highly recommend staying here.

This was such a great trip! The price was right and we were able to have tons of space in the mint house. They worked with us on parking, which was so generous and helpful. Thank you! We had such a great time.

We travel often and come to this area several times a year.
We chose this apt due to the size and reviews.
The GOOD: Location with a nice Whole Foods across the street: very clean; very large clean update industrial theme apt: accessories like shampoo, coffee are all included: nice towels: washer/dryer: plug in room fresheners: nice cleaning staff: text instructions were consistent and good.
The BAD: Onsite parking is extra at $50/day or pay to park for less is 1 block down: No cleaning service: No customer service after 5pm (if you get here after 5, there's no one to help you but security): Service if you need it (we mentioned a light bulb was out, which they replied would be replaced but never was)(our first morning, we left a message for the apt concierge to have the Mint House customer service person text me about parking as I wasn't really clear and have never been here. Never received a response) (we asked for a late 4pm checkout since we work on our computer, our flight wasn't until 7 and there was no one else booked for our room. They gave us 1 hour more, till noon with a charge of $75/hr for every hour after that. Missed a good opportunity to provide extra good service but instead we worked ds in the lobby).
If you want a large nice room and don't mind paying extra for parking and don't mind the lack of service, this is for you.
The concierges for the apartments that are here during the day are very nice. I never saw or met anyone from Mint House.

Very nice apartment with plenty of space and a great kitchen if you want to make your own meals. Whole Foods is a block away and another grocery is about 3 blocks. Easy to get to Union Station and from there you can get anywhere in the city. Would definitely stay again.

A luxury apartment stay! We were relaxed and had all of the kitchen items we needed to make breakfast (plus Whole Foods right across the street)!

The booking process was inane…background check? Really?

Loved the opportunity to have a full apartment vs an inexpensive single room. Great view! Extremely convenient to the train.

The property looks clean in and around the hotel and I really like that everything is near walking distance dinning ,shopping entertainment etc.

I personally enjoyed my 1 night stay at Mint House. I will say parking is a bit complex and away from Mint house and there is an additional fee if you choose to use their parking system. Luckily we were only there for a night and were able to leave our car parked on the street. Other than that, it was a beautiful place to stay. Loved that Whole Foods was across the street!

It was great to stay at Mint House!

The apartment we rented, 2 bed 2 bath, was amazing. Spacious with well appointed kitchen and comfortable beds. It was quite clean except for some of the metal window trim was pretty dusty and some dust bunnies under the bed, very minor.
Biggest issue was getting to the apartment. Door code gets you in the building, but you need a fob to get up the elevators. There’s no mention of this in the instructions. I arrived around 10p and was super lucky there was a security guard in the building who could key me in. When my family arrived, there was no security guard so they called me to come let them up. Not sure what we’d have done if there was no guard. My door code to the apartment also didn’t work. Thankfully there was a number to call and they did answer, even though it was late AND on thanksgiving, and got me a new code.
Definitely some kinks to workout with this self serve hotel.

Very clean, same price for a hotel but you get an entire kitchen and living area. Will be back.
