My husband and I stayed in a Junior Suite ocean-front room on the second floor of the Sea Sprite Hotel. (We were in town to see a Madonna concert in Inglewood on Saturday, 3/9/24.) The view from the room and balcony is amazing. We watched beach volleyball and other beach activities, marveled at the morning exercisers walking on the boardwalk, and just enjoyed being part of the beach scene for awhile. The hotel is located just one short block south of the plaza containing numerous shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Aside from being so close to the beach, everything else is subpar. The sheets to use for the pull out bed were stained. There are no clear directions on how to use temperature control. The keys stop working before checkout time.

Loved the area, the staff was super. Just a few things like the room smelled very badly like bleach, the sink faucet breaks off, and the shower handles are hard to figure out, the pillowcases were a little dirty. But the view, the location is amazing, and the staff is very friendly.

The room I booked was not available (likely double booking thru third party app, always a risk) but staff handled it nicely and we moved to a family room the next day. Perfect location on the strand, lovely staff, modern beachy interior and the family room with separate sitting room was perfect.

Super location right in the beach and walkable to restaurants & shops (which being w/o a car was perfect. Sometimes when you get location you sacrifice something, but not here..Seasprite Hotel was clean and modern and updated..will stay here again.

The property was in a great location. On the boardwalk and within walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. Staff was really nice. In room refrigerator was a nice amenity.

Met with a group of 8 friends who went to school together in Gardena back in the 50’s for a reunion. I’m the only one who moved out of the area (New York). The Sea Sprite was the perfect location because we all frequented Hermosa Beach as kids. The accommodations were great, the staff friendly & helpful and the outdoor patio had plenty of seating with a fire pit and an amazing view of the beach/ocean and the sunset! Even though we’re all in our 70’s, we agreed that we will have to go back again.

Parking was difficult due to the busy Fiesta days this weekend. I thought I was getting a partial ocean view but did not. Room was very nice and clean.

Very fresh, clean location at the seaside. Super friendly right from the first phone call we made to the check-out process. The only thing we couldn't understand was why the room wasn't freshened for our second day; it somehow got skipped. But they quickly supplied more coffees and fresh towels to try to make up for it. We will certainly stay here again!

We stayed in an oceanfront suite. It was beautiful and had newer renovations. Two sets of doors opened to the shared patio and then you can walk right out onto the beach. Be aware if you are noise sensitive that we could hear the people above us moving around. It didn’t bother me, but if you are sensitive you should stay on the top floor.

I love this place.But....and I just have two butts......They are so nice when you arrive...you have to carry your luggage up stairs....I had two big bags, and I was put on the 3rd floor...They took my luggage up, as I just had surgery. I did appreciate this...But came back to a couple with a baby having a hard time in the room next to me with getting the stroller, and bags up to the room. So ask for a bottom floor if you have a lot of luggage. Number two....The noise...My room the first night was right next to a party room....I could not get any sleep. The next guest I mentioned the kids....super cute, and excited to be at the beach ran up and down right next to my door, and window ....Parents ...making sure they were ok, and right next to my window...Needles to say I was awake at 6AM....Great location.....If you want relaxing, and quit this is not your place....Staff are very nice, easy check in decor is nice. This is my second visit. I was there on work...so sleep was important. Ooooo and I love kids, and to party, I didn't complain, just feel this is a good place if your ok with a little action, and close neighbors.
