I was very pleased with the staff. Very informative and willing to assist. My room was amazing - comfortable, and a nice size with couch, chair - decorated very retro. Loved the rooftop. Wish I could have enjoyed it more.

The Last Hotel is definitely not a 4 star hotel i wouldn't rate it any higher than a 3 star. Property is located in a run down area. The property is also poorly managed and currently lacks any type of restaurant. My room's bathroom was dirty. Bed linens were very thin and just laid on the mattress i have to tuck in etc. A big clear bag of the cleaning crew's garbage was left out in the hall filled with garbage from dirty rooms not closed and spilling out on the floor. Requests to have the garbage removed were ignored. The building is nice but with poor amenities. Hotels seems to be lacking management and trained crews.

The kitchen in the hotel caught fire a few weeks ago, and they never called and informed me. Also, the bar was closed for no apparent reason as well. So that left no food or drink for us and we were charged full price! Not ok at all!!!

This was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The front desk staff were so attentive and kind (and really cool). The room was incredibly spacious, with high ceilings which I loved. It was retro meets modern. Very conveniently located in Downtown STL, and walkable to almost everything we did!

No complaints about the physical hotel - our room was clean, modern, and a large size to accommodate our family of 4. I also loved the vibe and decor.
BUT, it was a ghost town! I maybe saw two staff members the entire time we were there (5 days). I booked this hotel because it had a restaurant, coffee/snack options, bar, pool, and rooftop, but the only things we could actually use during our stay were the pool and downstairs bar. The restaurant, coffee bar, and rooftop service were all closed the ENTIRE duration of our trip (again, 5 days). We also had to request room cleanings.
Of note, I totally understand staffing issues and occupancy vs. resources, and honestly not that big of a deal, but I did check the website and social media for hours and details, and nowhere do they mention reduced hours or the fact that some services might be unavailable.
Overall, I just felt like I got a little ripped off. I would maybe book again, but only if all amenities were in-service and available.

Really cool vibe and neat repurposing of an old factory building. Didn't get to use the rooftop pool but it looked really fun. Used street parking without a problem although heard gunshots in the area late the night we stayed which was concerning. Forgot my phone charger and the front desk staff was super helpful in loaning me one to use. Very clean and friendly.

Everything about my stay at The Last Hotel was perfect, the only problem was my bed didn’t have a fitted sheet and my husband and I were sleeping on the mattress. We told the front desk about this, and asked them to put a fitted sheet down but the problem wasn’t solved. Other than that, everything was excellent!

Our stay was really nice. I thought "the paying more to get in and out privileges of the garage" vs valet was different. But our stay wasnt long. The hotel and the staff was really nice. The room and the view was very nice also. I didnt like that there was only one set of towels in the room. Overall it was a nice stay. The bed was comfortable as well. I would stay again.

First and most important, the staff at this hotel were AMAZING. The valet was absolutely the best as well as the front desk clerk. That said, those poor folks were doing 2-3 jobs each day. I wish they could move from this run down city and find better work. They are great people.
The listing for the Last Hotel is VERY misleading. This hotel was severely understaffed. The bar was closed upon check in, the restaurant is closed indefinitely. The neighborhood is very noisy and unsafe, and I mean not safe at all. I will say the hotel has an amazing work out room and has the potential to be very upscale. It is obvious this place is on the verge of shutting down. Kirkland brand waters in the rooms, the cheapest shampoo and conditioner I have ever seen, under staffed, not very clean, the doors being locked to the place during regular business hours due to safety of the neighborhood. Unless somethings change, I don't think I will return to this facility. But I do commend the staff- they were beyond amazing, friendly and helpful!

The tv didn’t work and no one could figure out how to make work, also they don’t have the restaurant that they advertise in the amenities.

All was good. The Valet was very knowledgeable and attentive. The Last Hotel. Won’t the last time I stay here. This is a do over.

This was a great hotel to stay at if you're in the downtown area exploring and/or attending a concert/event at the Enterprise center. Check-in was easy and fast; we received great service from the staff (front desk and bars). We stayed during the off-season, which was a little unfortunate as their rooftop pool and bar were not open. The room could have a been a tad cleaner, but overall, this was a great place to stay for a weekend getaway.

We stayed there for mardi Gras for the first time to celebrate our son’s 21st birthday with family and friends and staff and surrounding businesses were so friendly and accommodating. We all had a great time and the place was clean. We would definitely go back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this exquisite hotel on the 16th block of Washington Ave. in downtown St. Louis, and I cannot praise it enough for its high-end appointments, industrial yet classy ambiance, and its status as a true hidden treasure.
From the moment you step into the lobby, it's evident that this hotel has undergone a meticulous renovation. The high-end appointments are immediately noticeable, with sleek and modern designs that exude sophistication. The attention to detail is commendable, and it's clear that every aspect of the hotel has been carefully curated to provide a luxurious experience.
What sets this hotel apart is its unique blend of industrial aesthetics and timeless elegance. The exposed brick walls and metal accents create an industrial feel that adds character to the space, while the plush furnishings and tasteful decor maintain a sense of class and refinement. It's a harmonious fusion that caters to those seeking a stylish and distinctive atmosphere.
The location is nothing short of perfect. Situated on the 16th block of Washington Ave., the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of many downtown attractions, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers. Whether you're exploring the vibrant nightlife, attending meetings, or simply enjoying the city, this central location provides easy access to everything St. Louis has to offer.
However, what truly makes this hotel a hidden treasure is the sense of

Stay was okay. Hotel is clean but has a sort of run down feeling. Majority amenities were closed in Jan 2024. Nightly rate did not match my stay experience.

Staff targeted myself and my guests for unknown reasons and wouldn’t let me stay the second night I have reserved

First we arrive without front desk greeting us very rude like we were an inconvenience. Room had no towels, sat down on bed it broke. Bed doesn’t have any mattress frame cover it’s gross and it's dirty. Earplugs on night stand why pointless. Water from Cosco. Light fixture was missing not one but four. I can go on and on. This hotel needs a hand and some tlc.

Lovely hotel, great staff, and conveniently located right next to the incredible City Museum. Everyone told us to take a car to get around downtown, but we found it quite easy to walk the city blocks. While it does feel like the "last" hotel on the block, the rooms were huge and comfy and everyone was so nice, it was totally worth it!

I stayed four nights, and my room was never cleaned, even after I had requested twice that it be cleaned. The bar did not serve food, and the rooftop bar was closed.

Loved my stay (Tuesday-Saturday) at The Last Hotel. Marlis and DeeDee at the front desk were so kind, helpful, and made me feel welcomed and comfortable to ask questions. The room was a nice space (I stayed in a King) with a small work space where I was able to sit with my laptop, closet, fridge, books, and large bathroom. The best part of my stay was the hot shower. I like my showers very hot and the water gets to a great temperature where I had to turned down the heat. The worst for me is staying at places where the water is barely warm. It is clean everywhere and I enjoyed the gym and rooftop pool.

The Last Hotel is super charming. My room was clean and the staff there are all really friendly. It was a lovely stay.

The staff were outstanding. We were there on Thanksgiving so most restaurants were closed and staff were limited. The area outside the hotel did not feel safe, but the staff were quick to escort us whenever outside.

Bed wasn’t comfortable at all
Bed back board was damaged
Pipes sinked as soon you started the water in the sink
Area around the hotel was extremely dirty

The room is cute but the common areas, especially the lobby area, elevators, etc, are dingy and not that of a 4.5 star hotel. Front desk staff was super friendly and provided a quick check-in.

The building is so cool. They kept some of the old parts of the building while adding in the new. The decor and character of the building is cool. The rooftop has some beautiful views. The lobby bar has the best bartender in town. The valet guys were super and the front desk girl was top notch. Everyone working there was just great! Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend!

We had a great stay. It was very quiet, but that was probably because we stayed on a Monday night. It was a very comfortable atmosphere. I would stay again if I were ever in the area.

This is advertised as a boutique hotel but we received a room that was not fully clean--trash still in the bathroom trash can; toilet seat was fully up as if someone had just used it and didn't put it down, toothpaste streaks inside one of the bathroom accessories, sticky surfaces in the room, lackluster toiletry options and missing freebies (no shower cap, among others)... all of the things I would not expect to be missing in a "boutique." The hotel was sold out because of a concert in town and there was no way to find an alternative room. Valet parking was full when we arrived at 4 pm to check in and we were forced to find a different lot. The valet was overworked and there is not enough room to pull over in front of the hotel to figure out options. Guests should be guided to the parking lot around the corner, which is just as expensive as the alleged on-site valet option. Finally, the check-in counter is tiny, and the person at the counter who checked me out when I left early because of a family emergency showed no concern or even basic courtesy--did not ask me how my stay was or offer any apology for the flood of coffee in one of the elevators that was sitting on the floor for hours, among other things. This did not feel like a good value for the money and when traveling to the area again I will probably wind up paying more to stay at a known chain hotel with higher quality rather than this one-off location. Very disappointing overall for the amount of money that I spent.

We chose this hotel because of the advertisement of an on-site restaurant and being able to order all meals to room. We decided to not a rent a car during our stay for this reason and to Uber to and from the airport. We were informed that the restaurant was not open when we arrived but would open the next day at lunch. Restaurant again closed the next day and not open. Rooms do not have a microwave nor a working refrigerator (our room had a refrigerator that wasn’t working and not repaired until the second day after asking a 3rd time. Room was comfortable and staff was very courteous. Just have a back up plan if you plan to dine at the hotel. On site “store/pantry” very limited on items available. There is a Dollar General within walking distance. For the price we paid for this weekend (For the concert I’m sure), I would have definitely stayed somewhere else.

It was a great stay and we had a beautiful room, valet was really wonderful and the food was marvelous. Sorry that we hit it when the roof top bar was closed for the season, it was beautiful.

Super friendly and courteous staff. Lady at the desk told me where the safer parking garages are and young man was at my room within a few minutes with ice when I asked where the ice machine was. 5+ star place to stay!
