I was very pleased with the staff. Very informative and willing to assist. My room was amazing - comfortable, and a nice size with couch, chair - decorated very retro. Loved the rooftop. Wish I could have enjoyed it more.

The Last Hotel is definitely not a 4 star hotel i wouldn't rate it any higher than a 3 star. Property is located in a run down area. The property is also poorly managed and currently lacks any type of restaurant. My room's bathroom was dirty. Bed linens were very thin and just laid on the mattress i have to tuck in etc. A big clear bag of the cleaning crew's garbage was left out in the hall filled with garbage from dirty rooms not closed and spilling out on the floor. Requests to have the garbage removed were ignored. The building is nice but with poor amenities. Hotels seems to be lacking management and trained crews.

The kitchen in the hotel caught fire a few weeks ago, and they never called and informed me. Also, the bar was closed for no apparent reason as well. So that left no food or drink for us and we were charged full price! Not ok at all!!!

This was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The front desk staff were so attentive and kind (and really cool). The room was incredibly spacious, with high ceilings which I loved. It was retro meets modern. Very conveniently located in Downtown STL, and walkable to almost everything we did!

No complaints about the physical hotel - our room was clean, modern, and a large size to accommodate our family of 4. I also loved the vibe and decor. BUT, it was a ghost town! I maybe saw two staff members the entire time we were there (5 days). I booked this hotel because it had a restaurant, coffee/snack options, bar, pool, and rooftop, but the only things we could actually use during our stay were the pool and downstairs bar. The restaurant, coffee bar, and rooftop service were all closed the ENTIRE duration of our trip (again, 5 days). We also had to request room cleanings. Of note, I totally understand staffing issues and occupancy vs. resources, and honestly not that big of a deal, but I did check the website and social media for hours and details, and nowhere do they mention reduced hours or the fact that some services might be unavailable. Overall, I just felt like I got a little ripped off. I would maybe book again, but only if all amenities were in-service and available.

Really cool vibe and neat repurposing of an old factory building. Didn't get to use the rooftop pool but it looked really fun. Used street parking without a problem although heard gunshots in the area late the night we stayed which was concerning. Forgot my phone charger and the front desk staff was super helpful in loaning me one to use. Very clean and friendly.

Everything about my stay at The Last Hotel was perfect, the only problem was my bed didn’t have a fitted sheet and my husband and I were sleeping on the mattress. We told the front desk about this, and asked them to put a fitted sheet down but the problem wasn’t solved. Other than that, everything was excellent!
