Parking was easy which is a plus especially in a city like portsmouth. The town is extremely walkable so we didn't have to use the car again until we left. The staff was friendly and attentive. They asked what kind of coffee we wanted and even cleaned our room which included changing the towels. If we come back to portsmouth, I would definitely stay her again

Enjoyed a short, one night stay on site after a trip towards Boston from Bar Harbor. This was a nice stopping place, easy to get to and easy to get back to the highway in the morning...The only thing is the parking lot can be a touch difficult to find in the dark with a small sign...Any amount of daylight alleviates the issue.
The room is perfect, clean and comfortable...the coffee was excellent and there was limited noise from the neighboring room.
All in all, a nice, restful stop.

A charming hotel in a perfect location. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A wonderful place to stay, and I would happily return.

We enjoyed our stay at this charming and well located property. We walked everywhere. There was a great coffee and bagel shop right across the street. The room was decorated well and supplied with nice touches including great linens and pillows. The bathroom was well appointed with good towels, bathrobes and slippers in branded bags, and the shower products were better than most stays. We happened to stay on garbage pick up day and the noise from the trucks came early and was loud. But we loved this place and would stay here again.
