Booked the room due to high reviews but had an average experience. The room was small but nicely designed and quiet despite facing the busy street. Breakfast was good and a free beer at the pub downstairs was appreciated. On the negatives the stairs/hallway smelled like fish and chips which fortunately didn’t impact the room and TV and WiFi spotty at best. Overall, a fine and convenient home base for exploring the area but won’t be a return trip for me.

Great place to stay. Nice area to walk in. Convenient to Chelsea, South Kensington, museums by foot or public transportation. Close to Tube. Rooms quiet even though over a popular pub. Good breakfast, pub food good.

Great staff, great location, a buzz about the place and area. Breakfast was excellent, room was comfortable and clean. Can't knock this place, would absolutely use again when visiting this part of London.

This pub with rooms deserves 10/10. Brilliant from start to finish. Friendly staff and free drinks at the bar on arrival set up our stay nicely and we never looked back. We were in Hitchcock room on the top floor. Beautifully decorated and equipped and spotlessly clean. Great bed and high quality bedding, everything we needed. The included breakfast was also first class. If I wanted to leave some suggestions I’d say perhaps bottles of water in the room (tap water is ok), and an option for black pudding with the full English. But overall this was a superb stay. Thank you.
