One of my only critiques is that the room was too hot. Locking the thermostat to not go below 67 degrees was frustrating, as we like to sleep in a cooler room. I'm glad we were there in March and not during the summer, or we would have been burning up. These room prices are very expensive, so it seems ridiculous to not allow guests to control the temperature and comfort level of their own rooms.

Rooftop bar is nice! Shower pressure is very light. Gym is average as there is not enough weight equipment. Great location but not on the water.

..could use a wall mounted magnifying mirror in the bathroom.. ..the rooftop bar was nice but receiving a meal tends to be cool upon arrival as it is transported by staff from the 1st floor kitchen to the 7th floor dining area via elevator.. why was a 'dumb waiter' not installed when the hotel was built ??.. .. a hot tub/spa would have been a pleasant addition to the heated pool. ..and this morning the breakfast area was almost out of all the baked goods..and other than oranges the only fresh fruit was cut up melons which was fine for me but many folks do not feel safe with hands on fruit prep like that.. good coffee.. ..just a few observations for your hotel's future improvements.

The only reasons I didn’t give it a 5 star is there was some mold in the shower which is easy to take care of between visitors with a little bleach. And the pillows were flat. All 4 barely added up to one. When I called down to ask for a feather pillow or better solution the answer I got was not helpful or apologetic in anyway. In fact, I wasn’t really even clear what she meant. She said I can’t go get you one. (It was about 9:30pm). After a few questions to clarify, what she meant was she’s the only one there and she can’t leave the front desk. A better answer right upfront would have been to acknowledge my concern, apologize, explain she was the only staff on sight but that she would make sure it got handled first thing in the morning. But, other than that, the room was very spacious, beds were comfy, and great views from every vantage point. I’ll definitely stay here again.

Excellent in every way except for walk- in shower. It’s an accident waiting to happen. Floor is slippery and there are no grab bars to hold on to! Also, there are three containers on the wall in the shower. They all look the same but contain different liquids. No way of tell what’s in each container.

Wonderful property with a great staff and a great location. Hotel has its own small pool but as a guest, you can also use a larger pool on by the marina property right next door. The marina also features a nice restaurant/bar serving drinks and food at the pool and great food, including a raw bar inside or on the deck. Additionally, the hotel has a rooftop bar restaurant, which was great for late night drinks. Hotel also offers free breakfast. The only drawback was having to pay for parking in their parking lot. I just don’t understand this obsession with hotels, now charging for parking whether it’s in the middle of a busy city or out in a open area where there’s plenty of land for parking around the hotel. It’s obviously just a way to get more money from each guest because there is no valet parking on site so it’s just a fee that puts money in their pockets.

Super clean and excellent amenities for the price and the area! Super clean and free breakfast! Off the main drag so it was nice and calm and not super touristy, and I really enjoyed that because my trip was just for relaxing. The restaurant next door had live music one night which was sooo awesome ! Rooftop bar at this place… 10/10! Will be staying here again for sure.

Hotel was immaculate. We had a room with a kitchenette which we didn't expect. Balcony had a great view. King bed was comfortable. The pullout sofa was not at all. This was our only complaint. Staff very friendly. Enjoyable stay.

It was noted that this hotel did not have valet service for check in However at 300.00 night they should have it. booked online a suite with view of marina. my room did not have a marina view. Not worth effort and aggravation to change or complain so kept the room. Room and Hotel was very clean. Suite was very comfortable. A restaurant not affiliated with the hotel was located right next door so that was very convenient. The Hotel Rooftop Vista Lounge with food and bar was not the best. Happy hour price for beer 3 selections 5.00. Food was terrible and not many choices. Small portion and over priced. Not worth it. Cant prove it but high suspicion they put cheaper alcohol in high end bottles. two drinks we ordered were terrible, basically undrinkable and sent back. Stick to the beer so you dont get taken.

We really enjoy this Marriott! Our trips to Tampa Bay now lead us here for our overnight stays. The people working here are very nice, the facility is clean, the room is spacious and there are several places to eat, within the hotel and nearby. We’ll be back!

I felt like the check-in process could have been better. The person "greeting" us barely made eye contact and just handed us a piece of paper with the hotel information on it vs. speaking to us and letting us know about the property; how to get on the wifi, where breakfast would be and what time, specials in the restaurant/bar, etc. I also didn't care for the fact that the A/C was locked, and we couldn't get the temperature in our room below 69 degrees, which made it very difficult for sleeping in the hot Florida weather.
