Lovely gem on the edge of Chester. Convenient and beautiful property with history. Beautiful added touch of indulgent biscuits and bara brith on arrival.

The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available.

Thanks to the convenient onsite parking, you can either leave your vehicle behind and let your feet make short work of the 13-minute walk to Broughton Shopping Park, or easily tackle the quick 7-minute drive to Chester Golf Club.
